My wife and I love the outdoors and try to travel whenever we can. I'm also a "gadget guy", a network engineer, and many years ago, a corporate technology buyer...so...I kind of naturally got into doing reviews on tech products, and that seems to be the kind of content that my viewers find the most interesting (vs my travel content). I review all kinds of tech, but I do tend to focus primarily on portable power and solar products - mostly because I find these a LOT of fun to work with. :) I don't take money from brands to do reviews (like many channels do), but I do often get the product sent to me for free. I only agree to do reviews on products that I think are worthy of serious consideration and I don't accept conditions on what I can or can't say about a product. If a product is obviously uncompetitive (or junk!), I'll scrap the video and send the product back (which is why you won't see many outright negative reviews here). Hey guys, remember that portable solar tracker from SolarPivotPower I've demonstrated a couple of times over the past year? Pretty cool little "set it and forget it" device that gets you about 30% more charging capacity out of your solar panel. Well, it seems they've been closely monitoring the "If only" comments many of you have made about various limitations of the current tracker version and they're now about to launch a new Kickstarter campaign for an upgraded, more robust version, called the pSolBot 1R2. It will have an all metal gearbox with 75% more torque to support larger and heavier panels, more molded/CNC parts and fewer 3D printed parts for better fit and finish, an adjustable carriage arm to support a wider variety of 3rd party solar panels...and several other welcome enhancements.
