🌸•Shizuka's Taisho Era Secret!•🌸

1•) Shizuka became a Hashira in just three months. Believe it or not, she used to be incredibly timid and pessimistic! She started her training from absolute scratch—literally just using books on how to create a breathing style! She trained alone because she didn't want to be a burden to anyone; being a people-pleaser and an overthinker, she was too self-conscious to ask for help. She trained empty-handed and with a wooden sword she crafted herself. She was willing to break bones and nearly tear her own muscles during training, all while keeping it to herself so no one would worry; that’s why she remained pessimistic and insecure about her skills. She never asked to become a Demon Slayer; she just wanted to be a girl enjoying a sweet life filled with love and flowers :3 And after her breathing was studied again by the Breathing Experts in the Corps... it turned out that she had accidentally created Sakura/Cherry Blossom Breathing Style!; a combination of Flowers, Love, and Wind. When they found out that they're so damn shocked even Shizuka herself can't believe it!

2•) Shizuka met Mitsuri and fought alongside her during Final Selection! However, Shizuka became a Hashira a month and a half before Mitsuri did, because Mitsuri had to seek her family's permission and consult with Oyakata-sama first.

3•) Shizuka loves Sakura Yokan, Sakura Manju, Unagi, and Kayataku Fish Soup (a dish of my own creation).

4•) Shizuka loves cherry blossoms (Sakura), orchids, roses, and tulips.

5•) Shizuka is an ISFJ and a Pisces (born on March 5th, coinciding with the start of spring and preparations for the Hanami festival!) and Feeling-Introvert (according to the STIFIn personality system).

6•) The first meeting between Giyuu and Shizuka happened at Masao Maeda's clothing shop. At the time, Shizuka was preparing for her Hashira inauguration ceremony, which was just a few weeks away. Initially, they were just strangers to one another. However, when Shizuka received her uniform, Giyuu—who held women's honor in high regard—became furious and nearly strangled Masao. A panicked Masao immediately promised to provide a better uniform—and the result? The uniform you all recognize! It resembles Mitsuri’s, but features an off-shoulder design and a covered chest area. Giyuu also insisted—or rather, forced the issue—on adding shorts underneath Shizuka's mini-skirt. Shizuka also added a large pink bow to the outfit. And so, it became the iconic Shizuka uniform we know today! And a few weeks later, at the new Hashira inauguration...—BAM! Both Giyuu and Shizuka were completely shocked! Giyuu hadn't realized the girl he’d helped the day before was a Hashira candidate, and Shizuka hadn't known Giyuu was a Hashira either! They introduced themselves without any fuss, went through a brief slow-burn phase, quickly grew close and developed feelings, and eventually became inseparable—deeply in love with each other. At the end of the story, they even got married LOL 😭🙏.

7•) Shizuka absolutely loves rabbits, cats, and dogs—basically any animal with soft fur! Except for rats and, of course, insects. She hates them; they are the only creatures she truly loathes. Giyuu was delighted to learn that Shizuka liked cats, but he was shocked to discover she loved puppies too. Yall must've still remember the story about Giyuu getting bitten on the butt, right? 😭❓

8•) Shizuka’s unique eyes are the result of a hereditary genetic mutation in her family. Almost all the women in the family possess distinct, flower-shaped highlights in their irises: Shizuka has a cherry blossom (Sakura) shape, Sayomi (Shizuka’s mother) has an orchid shape, and Hanami (Shizuka’s second daughter) has a lotus shape. Shizuka’s youngest daughter, Shiori, did not inherit a flower shape; instead, she has a random water-droplet shape that symbolizes the union of Giyuu and Shizuka’s love. This is precisely why the Yoshimari family holds women in such high regard and elevates their status. Any female member of the Yoshimari family who marries is required to give their children the Yoshimari surname. However, the children of Giyuu and Shizuka bear the Tomioka surname; this is because Shizuka allowed it, knowing that the Tomioka family line might otherwise cease to exist if the name were not passed on to the next generation.

9•) Shizuka is actually skilled at walking on stilts—a pastime she used to enjoy in front of her house with Yumeki! She is also drawn to men's clothing, appreciating its flexibility and ease of wear, which contrasts sharply with the restrictive garments she typically wears in her daily life.

10•) Shizuka is a true-to-life embodiment of the *Yamato Nadeshiko* ideal—the quintessential Japanese woman.

11•) The first moment of closeness between Shizuka and Saori was... When Shizuka invited Saori to have dinner with the other Hashira to celebrate the first day of their Hashira meeting. At first, Saori refused because she was shy—truly, *too* shy! But Shizuka insisted and coaxed her into coming along, and Saori finally agreed. Once there, Saori was incredibly, *incredibly* quiet! She kept breaking into a cold sweat, prompting Shizuka to approach her with empathy, pity, and a sense of guilt for having brought her there in the first place. Yet, Saori didn't mind; what mattered was experiencing the feeling of dining together. They kept chatting—just the two of them—until a sense of comfort and intimate closeness blossomed between them (platonically) 🤍. OH MY DAYS🥹🥹🥹🥹🌸🌸🌙🌙🤍🤍🤍 MOONBLOSSOM/SHIZUSAO IS PEAK

if you're still lying in your bed right now, imaginary many things, but do nothing that can made people amazed of you now; that's the beginning of your failure.

if you still can't adapt yourself in your environment because you don't want to get out of your comfort zone, you're a big disappointment to yourself.

no matter what you do,

if you still insist on refusing to step forward and show the world who you are because you don't want to embarass yourself, get out of your comfort zone, adapt, trying to get out of the abyss of depression and your downfall, and has no motivation too, once again you are a real failure.
