Just a super quick update: I got my third COVID shot on Saturday, and the side effects knocked me out for a little while, which is why there haven't been any videos over the weekend. Videos should return either tomorrow or Wednesday.

Just a quick Hermitcraft update since it's been a little while since the last episode: next episode is probably going to be sometime next week. I've been busy with IRL stuff, Wifey got sick (not COVID, don't worry), and I have a friend coming down from Wisconsin to visit me for the next few days, so I'm not going to have a lot of time for Youtube stuff until Monday or Tuesday. In the meantime, I've got a bunch of Isaac backlogged, so those will keep coming out every day. <3

Was hoping to have a Hermitcraft episode out this weekend, but it's looking like that's not going to happen, so I just wanted to give y'all a quick update. My motto for this season is, "It's done when it's done," but since this one is taking even longer than normal, I figured I'd keep you guys in the loop.
The next Hermitcraft episode is being worked on. It's taking longer than I'd like, partly due to some IRL stuff that happened (I got sick for a week, and then my AC was out for almost a week right afterwards which meant my office was basically an oven), and partly because it's just a really big project for this episode with a lot of grinding.
Since coming back from a very long period of Minecraft burnout, I've been careful to make sure I don't push it. I'd much rather have a longer wait between each episode than force myself to play when I'm not feeling it, because if I get burned out again, it's not going to be good for any of us, and as I mentioned before, there's a lot of rather boring grinding involved with the project for this episode. I can only handle so much boring grind in a single day before I don't feel like playing anymore for the day. Hopefully that will all make a bit more sense when you see the video.
As always, I'm still regularly posting updates and stuff on Twitter. This weekend is also a Hermitcraft stream weekend, and I'll be streaming from 10AM-12PM Central on Sunday over on Twitch.

Sorry for mostly disappearing over the last 2 weeks (I have been posting on Twitter, but I know not everyone follows me there). Don't worry, the next Hermitcraft episode is still being worked on, and should hopefully be finished within the next few days.
As some of you may know, due to COVID, the US Government extended the tax filing deadline until July 15th this year. Naturally, my wife and I have procrastinated on filing until the last possible minute, so basically over the last couple weeks we've been buried in tax preparation. Since both of us are self-employed, our taxes are significantly more involved than those of most people, and every year there are tons of receipts to go through, calculations to make, and numbers to double-check.
As I'm writing this, our actual tax appointment is in about 3 hours. Afterwards (assuming all goes well), I'll be able to get back to properly working on Youtube stuff. Thanks for your patience! <3
