Since 1871, when this church was founded by thirteen visionary people, First United Methodist Church at 812 Kirkman Street in Lake Charles, LA has made a difference in the spiritual lives of many. While we have maintained a downtown location, we are truly a regional church, reaching many persons from the surrounding communities of Calcasieu Parish.

We offer two worship options, contemporary and traditional church services every Sunday at 9am and 11am. Whichever option you prefer, it is our hope that you will find the experience to be warm, inviting, and dynamic.
