Standard package includes:

* Use original KNAUER power cable only * Connect to: * 100–240V AC, 50/60 Hz * Ensure: * Proper grounding * No loose connection

Today I will tell you to how to install Advanced instruments Osmometer Model Osmo1..
1. Site Preparation (Before Power ON)
* Place instrument on stable, vibration-free bench
* Maintain:
* Clean environment (no dust)
* Room temp: ~20–25°C
* Power requirement:
* 100–250V AC, 50/60 Hz
* Ensure proper grounding (very important)
2. Electrical Connection
* Connect power cable
* Do NOT switch ON immediately
* Check:
* No loose wires
* No moisture near system
3. Initial Setup (Pre-Startup)
* Open sample chamber
* Clean probe tip using:
* Distilled water + lint-free tissue
* Insert empty sample tube
* Ensure probe & stir wire are aligned properly (factory set)
👉 Proper probe alignment is critical for accuracy and must be checked after adjustments
4. Power ON & Initialization
* Switch ON instrument
* System will:
* Self-check
* Initialize internal components
* Wait until display shows READY
5. Calibration (VERY IMPORTANT)
* Use standard calibration solutions (e.g. 100 / 500 / 1000 mOsm)
* Follow calibration menu:
* Insert standard sample
* Press START
* Calibration ensures accuracy before testing
👉 Manual confirms calibration is required for reliable results
6. First Test Run
* Sample volume: 200–250 µL
* Insert sample tube
* Press START
* Wait ~2 minutes for result
7. Post-Run Cleaning
* Remove sample tube
* Clean probe tip again
* Keep chamber dry & clean
