I’ll be honest — 2016 was a funky year for Treasure Hunts. Some odd picks, some head-scratchers… but it also gave us a few absolute bangers that still hold up today.
These are my 4 picks from that year.

-Peak Hot Wheels fantasy energy. Loud, weird, and fun — exactly the kind of casting that reminds you THs weren’t always just recolors.
⚙️ Grease Rod
-One of the strongest hot rod castings of the year. Vintage vibes, tons of attitude, and way better loose than carded.
🏎️ ’11 Corvette Grand Sport
-A clean, realistic Treasure Hunt. Proof that 2016 still knew how to balance fantasy with legit street cars.
🏍️ Bad Bagger
-This one didn’t mess around. Big stance, heavy details, and instantly recognizable — easily one of the standout bikes in TH history.
