Netizens have taken to different social media platforms to share their thoughts on Wednesday's judgment by the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal upholding President Tinubu's victory.
A five-member panel of the Tribunal took turns to dismiss the petitions presented by the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar; Labour Party and its candidate, Peter Obi; against the declaration of Tinubu as the winner of the presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission on March 1, 2023.
Netizens have since begun to share their thoughts on the ruling.
#Drelmoatiku tweeted, "INEC - The law says it is mandatory we must electronically transmit results in real-time from the polling units to the IREV.
"Justice Tsammani- You be mumu. The law doesn't say it's compulsory. Don't go and put yourself into trouble.
"Justice Tsammani became INEC chief witness and defendant in court. What a sad day for democracy and our electoral laws. #PEPTJudgment#SupremeCourt."
#TheSearhIbrahim also tweeted, "Let the World know: What Justice Tsammani did today at the PEPT is worse than any military coup."
#ErimRexErim1 wrote, "Selective Amnesia That’s what happened at PPT yesterday. Justice Tsammani practically said things that didn’t happen during the proceedings. What a country."
#Masuzafi also wrote, "Justice Tsammani just ruled that there was no evidence of election malpractice in the 2023 presidential elections regardless of the facts the court was presented with. A typical third-world judgment. I will strongly advise that before we fix this country, let us fix ourselves first."
#Yakubuaolamiotan on Instagram wrote, "You didn't defeat Peter Obi and Atiku, you only paid your way through."
#Soloblinkz on Instagram also wrote, "As a student of law and a lawyer, no matter which side you belong to, you should be ashamed of what the justices are doing today in the courtroom."
Although more people have continued to slam the ruling, a couple of supporters have also continued to congratulate the president on the reaffirmation of his victory.

Old Tweet Of Ministerial Nominee Bosun Tijani Lambasting Tinubu Resurfaces Online
An old tweet of Nigerian-British entrepreneur, Olatunbosun Tijani's, criticising President Bola Tinubu has resurfaced on social media.
Tijani is one of the ministerial nominees in the second batch of the list forwarded to the Senate on Wednesday by President Bola Tinubu.
Tijani is the CEO and co-founder of CcHub. He has led the expansion of CcHub across Nigeria, Kenya, and more recently, Namibia.

The now-deleted old tweet of Tijani was a comment about Tinubu and his administration.
In his tweet, while replying to #Babajiide#busanga and #iaboyeji on July 23, 2019, he said, It is becoming the norm. Tinubu fed them that rubbish narrative with his "serving power a la carte" wisdom. Go invest your time and money into your business if you want to propagate such a rubbish narrative. Reacting to the old tweet of Tijani, a Netizen with the handle #Optimistic Ade said, "Do you now agree that power is never served a la carte and it is never a rubbish narrative? I am glad that the investment you and your colleagues made in the development of Tinubu's policy in the digital economy has finally produced a result. Congratulations, Dr. Bosun.

China To Limit Teenager's Usage Of Smartphone To Two Hours A Day
China's internet regulatory body in a bid to prevent the addiction of teenagers to mobile phones will limit screen time to a maximum of just two hours a day.
The Cyberspace Administration of China said it wanted to mandate so-called 'minor mode programmes' for smart devices that would ban under-18 users from accessing the internet between 10 pm to 6 am, Daily Mail reported on Thursday.
CAC also said aged 16 to 18 will be limited to two hours of screen time a day, under 16 would get just one hour per day and those under eight would get just eight minutes to use devices.
The proposed reforms would give parents the option to opt out of the limits. Chinese tech firm's shares in Hong Kong largely fell after the CAC published its proposals, which it said were open to public feedback until early September.
A lawyer at the Shanghai Shenlun law firm, Xia Hailong, said the rules would be a headache for internet companies and warned that Chinese internet companies may simply ban users under 18 from using their services altogether.
Shenlun said, "A lot of effort and additional costs to properly implement these new regulatory requirements."
ByteDance, which owns and runs TikTok, already bans teens from spending more than 40 minutes a day on the app.
This isn't the first time Chinese authorities have cracked down on how teenagers spend their free time.
Today, at the location of the crash, I expressed my appreciation of their commendable efforts to the first responders and residents who actively participated in the rescue operation.
The incident involved a single engine fixed-wing Jabiru aircraft with registration number 5NCCQ that crashed at Oba Akran avenue in Ikeja
Thankfully, both passengers on board were successfully rescued and are currently receiving medical attention.
The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB), whose responsibility it is to investigate incidents of this nature have already commenced investigations.
