On an album review we read “Despite the title, this album doesn’t offer a cosmic smorgasbord of freaked-out psych, but 8 tracks of unpretentious heavy rock…” Hell Yeah! Nightstalker always did and always will deliver raw heavy rock no matter the current trend.

The Great Hallucinations journey started with a collaboration with Heavy Psych Sounds, a new music video and a European Tour. Fast forward to 2020: We are home..just like you.. and we keep thinking “we must be hallucinating..”! However, for those who are wondering, we’re not calling it quits any time soon! Expect to see us back on the road asap and back in the studio ;)

Nightstalker

Everything is energy. Whatever exists above exists below. Action and reaction. There are zombies, who 'forever stoned', stroll around to find their fix and there are dogs that no-one wants. All of that is captured and explained in Nightstalker’s way in ‘As Above So Below’ and its provocative artwork. Many have wondered about its meaning.. Could it be God Pan having sex with the earth?

Dead Rock Commandos ladies and gentlemen! We need your track votes...

It seems like this album made quite an impact.. don’t you think?
It took a heart attack and a surgery for Argy to complete this one... he literally gave his heart for it 🖤
Maybe that’s why we earned the title ‘Dead Rock Commandos’.
Fun fact: The artwork was meant to be a python biting an apple. Oh well.. just like the commandos, the snake turned out dead. It’s all that is left from the snake that gave the forbidden apple to Eve.. a fossil 💀

Do you know what Argy had in mind when writing ‘Superfreak’? Humans and the peculiarity of human nature - the vanity of trying to rationalise and put a label to everything and conquer nature and the universe. According to Argy we were born in paradise where "everything is for free” but now we’ve killed God by putting a price to everything and turned ourselves into ‘Superfreaks’!

“Just A Burn”. Argy’s high has resulted in the burning of a couple of things, including a whole kitchen and himself..! And his reaction? “It’s just a burn man..” 😎

A seminal album in Nightstalker’s career.. marked by another shift in membership and the last one on the guitars of Nightstalker: Tolis was here to stay! Argy records drums for the last time on this album.. enjoy!
Fun Fact: Did you know that the album’s title was meant to be ‘Satanic Drugs From Outer Space’? Oh well..

We have arrived at ‘The Ritual’, the EP marking the dark era of Nightstalker, an era fuelled by substances and another shift in membership going one guitar player down. Argy, Andreas and Harry were back in the studio as a trio establishing new balances and turning towards a dark psychedelic approach.

*The last song of the EP ‘Iron Horse (Born To Lose)’ is by the legendary Official Motörhead
and the only cover Nightstalker has officially released.

USE was our first full length album, recorded in 1995. We spent two months in a studio to record it - full analogue - and we were so damn proud when we finished the recordings!
We still consider it one of our best works!
