Another BIG REVEAL! Did she hate it or love it?
The best part of creating art is the emotional connection that I make with clients and collectors who choose to commission me. I truly love capturing these special moments and sharing them with you! I really hope you enjoy these Big Reveals as much as I do!

…and here’s the completed Knightsville Elementary School mural!🥳
I filmed for 20 hours and condensed it down to >4 minutes for you to enjoy! Please watch and share my new YouTube video.

By the way, I do not use projectors or grids. I freehand all of my murals unless it’s a detailed logo which requires more accuracy. That’s the only time that I might use a transfer pattern. I did use a laser level to make sure that my work was level. When planning my murals, I often digitally superimpose my drawing on a photo of the actual wall. This helps my client visualize how the mural will actually look. It also helps me know the placement of the mural as I paint.
The painting was easy. The toughest part was climbing on and off that scaffold and then moving it around the chairs on the uneven sloped floor. It was such a tough workout! Plus, those auditorium chairs are actually part of history. They were used during the Civil War for the soldiers. I painstakingly took great care to not damage any of them. I can honestly say that no chairs were harmed during the making of this mural!
Originally I wanted to use green in this mural, but once I tried it, I really hated it. So I painted over it. Then I tried a different shade of green. Hated that one too. It just wasn’t playing nice with the other 3 colors. What are your thoughts on that green? Do you think I made the right call in painting over it?
