What should I do with my L4D2 video of the Presidents surviving Dead Center? I'm about halfway done (the runtime as of right now is 17 minutes), so should I release half of it now or finish the whole package?
I don’t know what’s more frightening, the fact this dude was murdered, or the fact that people are unironically celebrating this guy’s death.
I apologize for not making a post about this sooner, but his death made days a little more frantic than usual. With all the reactions out there, I wanted to wait a bit to really post my words about it (in text).
First and foremost, I don’t care how much you didn’t like this guy, the murder and the laughter are beyond unacceptable. Disliking someone for their politics and actions in their beliefs is understandable, we all have our fair share of people like that, but killing someone else for those reasons will only cause more strife, but now more dangerous than before. If we can kill someone like him for his political beliefs, then literally anyone can be next, even you, the viewer.
Secondly, holy moly, common human decency is not rocket science. Once again I don’t care who you are and how you felt about him, mocking a young father’s death because you hated his political stance is not only disgusting, but frankly inhumane. No one should ever have to say this because this should’ve been common sense, but it is seriously not ok to laugh and mock this guy after he was killed in cold blood.
Thirdly, I want you guys to understand what this means for the future of politics and conversation as a whole. Charlie Kirk certainly wasn’t perfect with how he went about his ways, but at least he tried, he tried to strike up a conversation with people who disagreed with him as an attempt to win them over. What his death should signify is that conversations over politics and religious beliefs are long gone now. Speak out against that side and they may just frame you as a n**i then kill you when they feel you’ve been on this planet far too long now. The one guy that attempted to bridge that division has now been killed and mocked at.
As a last bit for this post, I hope these words will reach to everyone out there. Pleeeeeeaaase for the love of God, stop watching the main stream media news. I feel it has lately became a cesspool of toxicity that only mocks and pushes rhetorics to rile up people to go against one another. I don’t wanna say YouTube is better (I won’t say names, but there are other political commentators as bad as the media), but I strongly suggest stepping away from the main stream and social media when it comes to politics. Both have clear biases for one side and it becomes difficult forming your own proper opinion about something or someone without having a sense of hate towards it or whoever. Lastly, to my fellow Christians and newcomers, Pray for everyone. Kirk’s family, his supporters, his haters, and yes, his murder(s). This culture has become so broken to where no man can have a normal talk about this stuff anymore, and Kirk’s death is a clear sign of just how bad it has become. I seriously pray that this world would heal, heal from this extreme level of strife, heal from mockery, heal from politics, and heal for better conversation.
In my eyes, the end of the world happens first when conversation is completely broken to bits, and this is how it starts.
Hey, so out of curiosity, from all the US Presidents I've made, what 'genre' have you enjoyed/wanted the most? The normal gameplay videos (horror or not) or the reaction videos (mostly to analog horror stuff right now)?
The results will influence the type of videos I make in the future.
For anyone curious, this video I tried using another ai voice generator called play.ht
I’m not sure how I feel about it, since the quality of it is not as good as elevenlabs. If anyone has any updates on what’s going on with elevenlabs, please let me know.
Until then, either I keep using play.ht or I switch back over to elevenlabs and try working around it somehow.

I’ve also read the “No-Go Voices” article in elevenlabs and y’all are right, it had something to do with the upcoming election.
So unless they change their mind or someone in the community finds another helpful voice ai tool, unfortunately I’m not sure if I can progress content any further, not unless I basically change their voices almost entirely, potentially making them sound worse or nothing like them in the end.
