ALSO, omg… some updates on my spring garden!!! (Which I started so late in season) I’m so happy about how it’s growing so far. Except for the little bugs or whatever eating my kale and kohlrabi. Lol
So here is an update on the small apartment garden. Mainly veggies and herbs in the raised garden bed. I mainly been updating through TikTok! But I figured I’d share here.

Started my spring herbal & veggie garden
(Late in the season!!! 🫣) I knoooww.
Whatever. We’ll see what works.
Definitely couldn’t grow by seed this time around because I was late. I recently moved states & places. So now I live in a small apartment.
At first I wasn’t going to garden this year because I was going to save money & plotting on my home + land to really grow some food, but I figured you have to work with what ya got!
Plus it’s great therapy & great activity to do with my baby. I’ve been teaching him a little gardening & Spanish! 💚🌱 I got him a little gardening chair and he loves it.
So for this year I am growing;

fascinating changes in the brain take place, increasing neuroplasticity.

✨ amygdala expansion
- the amygdala, which is responsible for emotional processing, grows significantly after birth. this enhances maternal sensitivity, making you more attuned to your baby’s needs (crying, facial expressions, and emotional cues.
- the amygdala also contributes to the strong protective instincts moms develop.
✨ increased oxytocin (“love hormone”)
- this hormone surges during pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding, strengthening the bond between mother and baby.
- it also reduces stress and promotes feelings of love, trust, and attachment.
✨ gray matter restructuring
- gray matter is a critical part of the brain and central nervous system that contains most of the brain’s neuronal cell bodies. it is involved in muscle control, sensory perception (such as seeing and hearing), memory, emotions, speech, decision-making, and self-control.

the placenta has a high black-market value of $50,000… if you give birth at a hospital they will take it unless you ask in advance to keep it. (and there are a few things you can do with it)

hospitals and biotech companies sometimes collect placentas for stem cell banks.”
it may also be used for cosmetics and anti aging products, traditional and alternative medicine, pharmaceutical & biomedical research, and for who knows what else.
the placenta is an incredible organ.
