In Revelation 13 John symbolically described his continuing vision of the battle between good and evil. This chapter portrays the evil that Satan promotes on earth as a powerful beast that goes against all that the kingdom of God stands for, and it seeks to enforce its ways with threats and violence. The beast also represents Satan’s efforts before the Second Coming of Christ, telling how wounding the beast does not stop it (see Revelation 13:3). In other words, even though one effort of Satan might be stopped, he continues others or starts new ones.

the wicked who worship the beast “receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads”. This may symbolize that the wicked show by their actions (hands) and beliefs (heads) that they do the will of the beast and accept his ideology. However, the precise meaning of “the mark” has not been revealed. “the number of the beast … is Six hundred threescore and six”. Over the centuries, the number of the beast, 666, has intrigued countless individuals and led to many speculative interpretations. The Lord has not revealed the meaning of this symbolic number. Some commentators have noted that since 6 is one less than 7 (a number representing divine perfection and completeness), 666 may emphasize the imperfect and counterfeit character of Satan and his followers.

“There will be an eventual triumph on this earth of God over the devil; a permanent victory of good over evil, of the Saints over their persecutors, of the kingdom of God over the kingdoms of men and of Satan.

the Lord has warned the Latter-day Saints to “go ye out from Babylon” meaning that we must flee the wickedness of the world.

The third angel described the judgments to come upon those who worship the beast and receive his mark . They will receive God’s punishing anger, described as drinking “the wrath of God … without mixture,” or without dilution.

Other scriptures teach that God’s wrath is poured out only when all other efforts fail to persuade men to repent

because satan's ideology kills merit, by definition it is worthless; whereas it can only destroy and add attrition and cannot create whereas god's ideology of merit is based upon capitalist like principles that encourage growth, and know classical liberalism in which capitalist doctrine is from was divinely inspired by the ideals of agency, whereas socialism was created in direct opposition to liberalism during the French revolution and has further evolved into many forms such as fascism, libertarian socialism and anarcho/tyrannical communism to oppose the ideals of free agency in which capitalism which is of classical liberalism is founded upon... whereas when the devil fails in one conflict he goes and starts new ones whereas he is persistent, tempting with vice and has no boundaries for his spirit is vast in the land and thus thou must too be persisting in your convictions with god, goodness, and virtue!

Satan, also called the adversary or the devil, is the enemy of all righteousness and of those who seek to follow God.
