Another 2 Pole MCB is connected to the generator for protection.

3. MCB Changeover Switch:

This is a 40A double-pole switch that allows the user to switch between the main electricity supply and the generator power.

When the main supply is available, the switch remains in the normal position.

In case of a power outage, the user can switch to the generator by toggling the changeover switch.

4. Generator Backup:

A generator is connected through a 2 Pole MCB, ensuring safety before supplying power to the house.

The generator is properly grounded to avoid electrical hazards.

5. House Electrical Connection:

After passing through the changeover switch, the electricity is supplied to the house.

When the main supply is available, the house runs on grid power.

When the generator is switched on, power flows through the changeover switch to the house.

This setup ensures safe and seamless switching between the main electricity supply and the backup generator.
