It’s been a busy few months for us. I’ve been diligently working on this surprise for the past 2-3 months, hoping I can get it to you before Easter! So, here it is! My newest book baby:

Polish Your Kitchen, A Book of Memories, Easter Edition

It is a recipe book that consists of 37 recipes in 3 chapters, 116 pages in a beautiful hard cover. In it, I talk about the traditions of Polish Easter celebrated in my home, the customs connected to preparing an Easter basket and decorating eggs pisanki. You will also find out how we celebrate Easter Monday (śmingus-dyngus) and most importantly, recipes of dishes that we prepare for each day of Easter celebrations.

Part/full time help will be in charge of day-to-day office operations, answering emails, filling and shipping orders, and eating the leftovers from our cooking shows. 👩🏼‍🍳

Would love to have someone who could stay with us long term and has a basic knowledge of Polish cuisine.

Knowledge of English & Polish languages at a basic professional level required. Driver’s license, cat. D required. Applicant must be able to lift up to 10 kg.

"Polish Your Kitchen: My Family Table" is a collection of recipes handed down from generation to generation, featuring more than 100 classic Polish dishes from my family home and reflecting the traditional flavors and cooking styles of the Polish hearth. This book is perfect for anyone that wants to bring a taste of Poland into their home.

Working on this project for the past several years was a labor of love for me. It has a lot of personal meaning and provides a great sense of pride. I spent a long time thinking about what it should look like and how to convey a certain feeling. With the help of my friend Igor, a brilliant graphic designer, we created a beautiful cover that depicts a traditional Polish scarf. The scarf has been in the family of over a decade now. The scarf sits on MY family table. The table that was given to us by my parents after Mark and I got married, the table that has stains and dents put into it by my daughter, guests and friends who dined with us. I invite you to sit with us and share in our memories.

I would also like to extend gratitude to our supporters who helped us fund this project via Kickstarter.

Hello my hungry friends,
to answer your comments, questions and concerns about our situation here in Poland and Ukraine war next door, we’re publishing a short update.

As you know, we are located in Szczecin, in the far North-West corner of Poland, right next to German border. We are personally unaffected by the war in Ukraine, but are definitely feeling a bit anxious.

There is a large influx of refugees arriving in Poland, including our city, and people are pulling together to help however they can. I see citizens volunteering their homes, some are helping by donating money, supplies, clothing, food, hygiene products or volunteering their time.

We support Ukraine and hope that this useless and unnecessary war ends now.

I believe this is the first time I'm sharing the image of my book cover with you my YouTube friends.

It took me a while to think up an appropriate design, but when I did, it all made sense. On the cover you see a red scarf. The scarf carries a lot of significance for me (so do the pierogi), which I talk about in the book a bit. 😍

The book includes 112 recipes for my most favorite dishes that were prepared in my family home. I wanted to publish 200, but unfortunately that was not possible (maybe in another book, next year).

The book took almost a year to put together and it will be officially published on 22 March 2022, on my babcia Stasia's birthday. ❤️ I only wish she was here to see it.

Book will be available in hardcover and eBook. Pre-sales will open next week.
