I need to be transparent in saying that it really annoys me when people tell me to CONSTANTLY create dandytales, even as a joke.
I CANNOT center my entire channel around the singular series, I need to do other things to allow myself to grow and express myself creatively. This happened last year with a series I made called Gootles and I ended up hating creating it because it felt like it was the only thing I was doing. I didn't allow myself to do anything else because I felt like there was no point, and it's why I stopped working on it.
I really don't want that to happen to Dandytales. I LOVE Dandytales, but sometimes I need to work on other things to give myself the opportunity to explore new techniques, styles, etc. (Which in turn, helps Dandytales when I return to it, because I'll have learnt new stuff!)
Anyways yeah. Sorry for bringing the mood down a lil bit. It's just been on my mind constantly. I worry that people are gonna comment stuff like "Ummm this isn't Dandytales..." when I release this next animation, even though I'm super passionate about it. I hope you all can understand where I'm coming from. Here's a sneak peek of the animation anyways.
(I know this doesn't apply to a lot of you, most of you are super respectful about what I create, but sometimes all it takes is 1 annoying comment to outweight all the positive ones. I try not to let it get to me, and I know it's coming from a place of genuine enjoyment rather than a demand for more content)
BTW, In the discord, I posted the raw audio clips for all the Dandytales characters so far. (in the #frailanimator text channel) So if you want to make your own Dandytales-styled stuff, feel free!
