Maybe I’m in a slump. Even after more than 100 days, it feels like there hasn’t been a big change, so I’m a bit down—but I’m still going to keep practicing every day.

My channel and my playing both feel stuck, but I think you can only grow by getting through times like this. Even though I want to rest, I’m going to keep practicing and give it my all.

Don’t rush yourself.
If I keep putting in the effort consistently,
my skills will definitely improve.

Hi, my friends.

Something came up today, so I don’t think I’ll be able to go live while practicing.
I am still practicing, of course, but I’ve decided not to count today toward my 1,000-hour goal.
I’ll show you a better, harder-working version of myself tomorrow. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I wish I could practice here all the time, but I can’t. I wonder if the day will ever come when I can.

So, whoever you are, if you truly want to become a musician, don’t wait. start practicing now. Put all your passion and effort into it. Don’t end up regretting it like I am right now.

Thank you to my friends who always support me and join my live streams to practice together.

These days, I feel a lot of passion growing inside me. I keep thinking about how I can really improve my playing skills. I don’t have much time because of my job, but I try to practice as much as my energy allows.

After thinking a lot, I realized that fundamentals are the most important thing. I also realized how much I still lack.

That’s why I want to prove it to myself — to show that the practice I’m doing truly helps me get better as a musician.

It might be slow and sometimes boring, but I’ll keep showing everything I practice, honestly and without hiding anything. I don’t know where this journey will lead, but I’ll keep going.

I hope you always remember that I’m here, practicing on this channel. If there’s anything you find helpful, I’ll try to make a video about it whenever I can.
And if you’re curious about what I’m practicing, feel free to ask me anytime in the live chat!

I’ll practice hard again today.

Hello my friends,

I’d like to talk a little about what’s coming next on this channel.
Some of you—my angels who’ve been with me since the early days—have probably noticed that lately, I’ve been struggling to figure out what kind of content can really help this channel grow in both views and watch time.

There are two main reasons why I’m doing YouTube.
The first one is that I genuinely want to share good learning materials for free.
To be honest, part of it might be because I want to look like a kind person. 😂
I’ve always wanted to study jazz, but I didn’t have much time or resources. So I spent a lot of effort searching for materials like the ones I upload now. Even if those videos don’t get many views, I keep uploading them because I know beginners who want to learn jazz truly need those basics—like the Chord Dictionary videos.

But to be more honest, I also have another, more personal reason.
I started this because, even though I’m not young, I still want to give piano my best shot—so that I won’t regret it later. We all know that for most people, devoting one’s life to music isn’t an easy path unless you’re one of the very few truly gifted ones.

So yes, my second reason is a little selfish: if this channel ever starts to make income, I’d love to put everything else aside and focus entirely on music. I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but for the past two years, I’ve done my best within the time and energy I had.

Still, as anyone on YouTube knows, reaching monetization is much harder than it looks. I’m still far from the 4,000-hour goal… 🫠😭
There were moments in the past few months when I really wanted to give up—and honestly, I kind of did. I stopped uploading for a while because I felt defeated.

But then I realized something: if I had spent as much time practicing as I did making videos, I’d probably be much better by now. Creating even a simple video takes so much time—researching materials, writing charts, recording music, and editing everything together. It’s a lot.

So from now on, I don’t want this channel to be just a place for materials.
I want it to show a person who practices every day, someone who keeps going, and a friend who practices with you.

I’ve always believed that consistency is the most important thing in music—but I also know it’s really hard to stay consistent when you’re alone.
That’s why I’m going to start streaming my practice sessions live every day—to keep myself accountable, and to practice together with you.

Thank you so much.
I do worry that frequent uploads and notifications might bother some of you, but if you’ve read this far, I think you already understand how much this means to me.

Thank you always, my precious friends.

I know what I need to do — I need to get better at my skills.
I believe this channel can give me more time to practice, but with uploads the way they are now, it just takes too long. So from today, I’ll be practicing every day with all of you.

If you’re there cheering me on, I know I can make it. Just as much as I want to support you, if you join me and practice together, it will give me a lot of strength too.

Let’s start practicing together from now on.
Let’s work side by side for better performances and better music.
