🔱 Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga – Complete Information 🙏

Located at the foothills of Brahmagiri Mountain in the Sahyadri range, near Nashik, Trimbakeshwar is one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, traditionally counted as the 8th Jyotirlinga.

✨ What makes it unique?
The Jyotirlinga here has a unique three-part form representing Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. As the sacred form is situated deep inside, a mirror arrangement helps devotees get a clearer view during darshan.

📖 The Story of Gautam Rishi
According to Hindu mythology, Gautam Rishi performed intense penance here. Pleased with his devotion, Lord Shiva brought the sacred Ganga to this region, which is believed to have emerged as the Godavari River. Nearby Kushavarta Tirtha is also an important sacred place associated with the Godavari.

🏔️ Surrounded by Nature
The temple is located amidst the beautiful Sahyadri hills, with Brahmagiri nearby. Anjaneri Parvat, associated with the birthplace of Lord Hanuman, is also located in the Trimbak–Nashik region.

🔹 Free Darshan: Available for everyone, but weekends, Mondays and Shravan can witness huge rush and long waiting hours.

🎟️ ₹200 Donation Darshan Pass: A donation-based pass option is available and may help reduce the waiting time.

⭐ ₹2,500 VIP Break Darshan Pass: VIP Break Darshan is also available, subject to temple rules and availability.

📅 2027 Kumbh Mela: The upcoming Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela in 2027 will make this region even more spiritually significant.

Tried their Aloo Pyaaz Paratha for ₹90.

The price may look a little high at first, but the paratha is quite big in size and filling. 😋

It is served with green chutney, pickle and curd, with a cube of butter melting on the hot paratha. 🧈🤤

They also have a wide variety of parathas to choose from.

Definitely worth trying if you love parathas! ❤️
