My grizzly Knifemaker grinder burnt out on me today. What a bummer. I had read about this problem but I also read they had fixed it. I guess not.
Bummer Luckily it under warranty. Probably gonna just return it for a refund if I can. Shoulda just went with a Beaumont KMG Grindr to start with. What do y’all recommend for a good price? #recommendations #grinder

This may not look like much but it’s a big deal when you’re an apprentice Knifemaker working with some semi- crude tools. Starting with the forged blade, the Hamon temper line, the plunge line, the 600 grit hand sand, the tapered point, false edge, and now the forged s guard. I’m happy with the way it looks but I know it can be way better, straighter and with cleaner edges and lines. My plan is to add spacer, a thru tang, a hardwood handle of some sort (probably rosewood). I haven’t decided. I also want to add a pommel and pommel nut. I’ve never done any of these things but I have a plan. “It all exists in my mind GOLDMOUTH!”
