⭐️⭐️⭐️Complete Guide to Moving to Madinah — Now Free.
🚩The guide to arriving and living in Madinah, which previously I sold for 49 dollars, is now available completely free. And here is why...
Recently, I have noticed a clear trend: more and more English-speaking people are deciding to move to Madinah. People arrive with big hopes, high expectations and a sincere desire to have a better religious life.
But unfortunately, reality often turns out to be more difficult.
📌Many people face serious challenges right from the early stages, become disappointed, and end up returning home.
⬇️⬇️⬇️The biggest and most painful issue is renting an apartment.
I have heard some sad stories:
— one brother bought the furniture from the previous tenant for an extremely high price (he didn't know the prices) and later deeply regretted it
— another used an apartment finding service, paid a huge amount of money, and was very disappointed with the quality of the service
— a third moved into an apartment full of insects
— another person rented an apartment and only then discovered that half of the electrical sockets provided 110 volts instead of 220, making them practically unusable for normal electricity use (the landlord simply didn't mention it)
— my own first bad experience: years ago I rented an apartment for the first time through a real estate office, only to find out that the apartment had an unpaid 3,000 SAR electricity bill which I had to pay just to get the electricity restored
And unfortunately, there are more such stories...
✏️At first, I planned to publish only one chapter of the guide for free — the one specifically about renting accommodation.
But in the end, I decided to release the entire guide completely free.
⚙️Yes, many more details could still be added.
But at the very least, after reading it you will have a clear and realistic understanding of moving to Madinah.
Most importantly, when renting an apartment, you will already know what to look out for and where people most often make mistakes.
⚠️Honestly, it is very sad to see people arrive in Madinah with great hopes, only to face serious problems due to inexperience or the dishonesty of some people.
💡As Shaykh Salih Al-Hudaithy رحمه الله said regarding some people in Madinah if I remember correctly:
الأرضُ المُقَدَّسَة لا تُقَدِّسُ الناس
“The sacred land does not make people sacred.”
This guide is my small contribution to minimizing such painful experiences and helping others avoid the mistakes that many have already gone through.

⭐️⭐️⭐️Exactly two months remain until I complete my bachelor’s degree at the Islamic University, Faculty of Aqeedah and Da’wah inshaAllah. These six years have passed so quickly. There have been ups and.. ups. By the mercy of Allah, there were no downs. The ups were just of different scales, but each one was a blessing from Allah.
As of now, there’s still no news about the application portal for Saudi universities reopening. So maybe, from time to time, I’ll share some interesting stories that happened during these six years. Here’s the first one:
📝📝📝After completing two years at the Arabic Language Institute, I joined the Faculty of Aqeedah. In this faculty, at every level, the main subject is Tawheed. I still remember our very first class of Tawheed in the first level. Our teacher entered — Shaykh Ubayd ibn Abdulaziz ibn Ubayd Al-Ubayd. He used to teach us Tawheed every Monday and Wednesday — two lessons on each of those days.
When he entered the class, he gave us salaam and said:
— “O students, do you have Tawheed classes on Monday?”
We replied:
— “Yes, we have Tawheed on Monday.”
He asked:
— “Do you have Tawheed on Wednesday?”
We said:
— “Yes, we also have Tawheed on Wednesday.”
Then he asked:
— “Do you have Tawheed on Thursday?”
We answered:
— “No, we don’t have Tawheed on Thursday.”
He smiled and said:
— “Aʿudhu billah! If you don’t have Tawheed on Thursday, then what do you have? Shirk? Tawheed should be with you at all times, 7 days a wekk!"
(The whole class laughed, and that’s how our very first lesson began.)
---
📝📝📝This teacher truly had a great sense of humor. I remember one incident during the lesson: one of the students suddenly stood up and headed toward the door. The shaykh didn’t like it and asked,
— “My brother, where are you going?”
The student replied,
— “To the restroom.”
The shaykh said,
— “Do you need to go that bad? Like you’re dying?”
The student jokingly smiled and said,
— “Yes, I’m dying.”
Then the shaykh smiled and replied,
— “Then all the more reason to stay in class! You want to die in the toilet — among the shayateen? Die here, in the class, in the majlis of seeking knowledge!”
In the end, he allowed him to go — but that moment stayed in memory.
---
📝📝📝There were many funny and touching moments with this teacher, but what I remember most about him is his kindness and compassion.
When I first rented an apartment, something unexpected happened — the electricity was suddenly disconnected. That day, after I handed in my homework, he said:
— “Sit with us and have some tea.”
(He also worked at Al-Masjid An-Nabawi alongside teaching.)
I replied:
— “Unfortunately, Shaykh, I’m in a hurry, I have an issue with my electricity.”
He said:
— “Leave your phone number and go.”
An hour later, he called me and said:
— “I’ll send my nephew to help you.”
I expected someone my age, but a man in his fifties arrived... and said,
— “I came on behalf of Shaykh Ubayd, my uncle.”
With his help, I found out that the electricity bill had a debt of over 3,000 riyals left by the previous tenant. The shaykh called again and said:
— “Don’t worry, I’ll pay the bill.”
I quickly replied:
— “No, Shaykh, please don’t. It’s not my debt, it’s the responsibility of the previous tenant and the landlord.”
But the shaykh, out of his generosity said:
— “But you need electricity. I’ll pay it now and take it later from your landlord.”
Eventually, I managed to convince him not to pay, but the way he reacted showed the depth of his kindness.
A few years later, I realized another thing about him. He always wore very simple clothes. At first, I found it curious, but later I discovered that he used to give much of his money in sadaqah, quietly and without anyone knowing.
⭐️⭐️⭐️Stories like these are simple, but they leave a deep warmth in the heart. Perhaps I will post a few more inshaAllah in the future.

🏠🏠🏠 Your Dream of Owning Property in Makkah or Madinah Could Soon Be Reality 🕋🌴
🔝Starting January 2026, a new law will officially allow foreigners to own real estate in Saudi Arabia — including Makkah and Madinah under special conditions.
✨For many, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to secure a home or investment in the two greatest cities in Islam (and other cities of the kingdom such as Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammad etc). But there are rules, steps, and fees you must know before making a move.
🔔Over the past weeks, I’ve shared 3 key resources to help you prepare:
1️⃣ Introductory Video (5 minutes) – Why this law matters, the opportunities it opens, and what to expect from my channel.
🎬🎬🎬 Watch: https://youtu.be/BLplthdUhDI
2️⃣ The Law – Explains who can buy, where, and under what conditions (including for Makkah & Madinah).

🔔 You have about 7 months before the opening of the admission portal to the University of Medina. In this post, I will tell you three things you can do now to improve your chances of being accepted!
1️⃣ Memorize as much as you can from the Qur'an and be sure to get a certificate proving that you have memorized parts from the Qur'an (there is even a special section during the application where you can attach a certificate of memorization of the Qur'an)
When I spoke to a worker who reviews applications for admission, he said regarding one country: "From this country, I try to accept only those who have memorized the Qur'an entirely or at least more than a half." As for the certificate, when he was looking at one application, he said to me: "Look, this applicant says that he has memorized 23 parts of Qur'an. If I now see a certificate proving this, then I will accept him." He then did not find the certificate and rejected the application.
2️⃣ Learn Arabic and also take a certificate that proves that you have completed a course! (at the time of application, there is even a special place where you can attach an Arabic language certificate)
3️⃣ Complete the educational tourism program of the University of Medina and receive a letter of recommendation from the university itself! (regarding this program I made a video here https://youtu.be/9cB63cVFCv0).
These are the steps you can take now in advance to increase your chances! Therefore, use the time before the admission portal opens!
