Welcome to my channel, which focuses primarily on train travel - not only do I find it to contain interesting history and great scenery, but it's also a good way to unwind and relax.
Here you'll find trip reports, journeys and comparisons of trains from all over the world - videos are released weekly at 5pm UK time, so hit subscribe and enable notifications so you don't miss any of my adventures by rail!
If you would like to support the channel, I am not on Patreon but please do find my Ko-Fi link below; all donations will be used solely for the purpose of creating new videos (new gear etc.) and are greatly appreciated.
For business enquiries only, please get in touch using ml.media1@outlook.com (linked below as well - serious enquiries only please and note I cannot respond to personal emails).
Thanks for viewing my channel and I hope you enjoy the ride!

Today we'll be looking at Canada for the first time on the channel, as I take one of VIA Rail's new Siemens Venture sets from Montreal to Toronto in Business Class. I heard a lot of good things about these coaches and I can honestly say the hype about them is deserved. Join me at 5pm GMT to see why!

A new year starts with a new train! Today's video will cover the brand new ICE L, DB's controversial new high speed train built by Spanish manufacturer Talgo. Despite the latter's reputation and the fact I went into this journey with low expectations, I was actually surprised by this train, so join me at 5pm GMT for a ride on Germany's newest train from Berlin to Cologne!

Happy holidays and a happy new year to all, wishing you all the best for the festive season and going into 2026!
My final video of the year will be released at 5pm UK time today as we take one last ride on GWR's Castle Class HST, which until a few weeks ago were the last passenger operating Intercity 125 sets in England.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank you all so much for your amazing support and encouragement this year. 2025 was a particularly difficult year for a number of reasons and seeing the incredible growth of the channel (almost 20k additional subscribers and a significant increase in views per video!!) has been one of the true drivers keeping me going.
Uploads will resume from Monday as I look to return to my normal weekly schedule and I'm currently preparing all of January's videos over the next few weeks, with some incredible trains and journeys to come. Until then, I hope you enjoy my final video of 2025 later in a few hours!

On Wednesday this week EMR's brand new "Aurora" intercity high speed trains entered service for the first time on the Midland Main Line - I recorded it yesterday and that video will be out in around 10 minutes. See you then for a first look at Britain's newest long distance train!

Sorry all, factors out of my control meant said video was unable to be recorded (and subsequently edited) today - hopefully this should be out next week at some point alongside Monday's video...

As of yesterday morning the channel has reached over 40,000 subscribers, which is absolutely incredible. A huge thank you to everyone who has been interacting and enjoying the content that I've been posting - 2025 hasn't been particularly easy for a number of reasons (not to mention the usual caveat of running this channel alongside my full time occupation), but posting content on here for you all has been keeping me going. Many thanks!
This week's video will also be out Wednesday - it's not quite a 40k subscriber special, but it should be quite a special video. As for why and what it is? You'll have to stay tuned to find out!

Hi all, apologies for the complete silence the last few weeks - been very chaotic with work as of late and now my latest trip to the Americas. I'm NOW aiming to have my next video out 10/11 as I look to move towards realigning my upload schedule back to what it was previously. Enjoy the rest of your week as well as a few pictures from my last few days in the US - a new country for me and the channel follows later this week!

Coming up today is a look at what is probably the strangest looking train in Europe - the Dutch ICMm (or "Koploper") - we'll be riding in second class from Utrecht to The Hague as we look into this train's unique design ahead of their eventual retirement in a few years...
Out at 5pm BST, see you then!

Evening all, no video this week as I was back on the road filming over the weekend - that being said, one of the things I recorded will sadly no longer exist come the European timetable change in December...
As I'm sure many of you are aware, the Nightjets out of Paris to Vienna and Berlin are being scrapped by OBB due to reduced funding from the French government and SNCF refusing to support it further. Whilst the Nightjet is admittedly overpriced nowadays, particularly if you want a private sleeper cabin to yourself, scrapping such a popular night train connection doesn't really make much sense and is a rather poor move during a time when rail travel should be encouraged, not shunned.
That being said, there is a petition launched in an attempt to stop the cancellation of the service. Those who want to sign it can find it here: agir.greenvoice.fr/petitions/sauvons-les-trains-de… - it's already at 50,000+ signatures and counting!
Enjoy the rest of your week and I'll see you next Monday!

Up today, we’ll be taking a short international journey in Luxembourg with CFL’s brand new Coradia Max as we cross the border into Belgium. A nice ride given that domestic journeys in the country are free, but there is a slight issue… out at 5pm BST!
