Welcome to my channel, which focuses primarily on train travel - not only do I find it to contain interesting history and great scenery, but it's also a good way to unwind and relax.
Here you'll find trip reports, journeys and comparisons of trains from all over the world - videos are released weekly at 5pm UK time, so hit subscribe and enable notifications so you don't miss any of my adventures by rail!
If you would like to support the channel, I am not on Patreon but please do find my Ko-Fi link below; all donations will be used solely for the purpose of creating new videos (new gear etc.) and are greatly appreciated.
For business enquiries only, please get in touch using ml.media1@outlook.com (linked below as well - serious enquiries only please and note I cannot respond to personal emails).
Thanks for viewing my channel and I hope you enjoy the ride!

Got quite the journey for today’s video, as we take the SJ Euronight in a deluxe ensuite sleeper from Stockholm to Berlin which is often branded as Europe’s most delayed railway service. Safe to say this journey lived up to that reputation well 😅 See you at 5pm BST!

Today on the channel is part 1 of my journey from Sweden to Finland by train as we take Sweden's fastest high speed train across Swedish Lapland to the Finnish border at Haparanda. There's definitely more than meets the eye with these little X52 2 car units, which you'll learn more about at 5pm BST. See you then!

Well it definitely took quite a while to get this video to a standard I was happy with as I didn't want to rush it, but my full review of Etihad Rail, the UAE's first passenger train that launched at the end of June, will be live at 5pm BST. See you then as we travel at 200km/h through the desert between Fujairah and Abu Dhabi!

Just a quick note - a bonus video is still planned, however this will now be postponed to next week owing to other commitments. The next video from me will therefore be Monday at the usual time!

Pleased to announce that after over a month hiatus, I’ll be back uploading videos from tomorrow. As a thanks for your continued patience during this period there will be TWO videos this week, with the second to be released at 5pm Friday BST.
As for tomorrow’s video? I managed to fit in a ride on GoVolta’s Amsterdam to Hamburg route back in April before it was questionably withdrawn just over a month later, the service being only a mere few weeks old at that point. Looking forward to seeing you all at 5pm BST tomorrow!

A further update...
A few more unexpected things last week (nothing bad this time!) occurred which meant I was unable to do any channel work. Combined with the fact I am now in South East Asia for the next two weeks means I will be unable to release anything until I return given the lack of a suitable-quality microphone.
As such, new video uploads will be suspended until July 13th - I am recording content out here, but frankly I could also use a bit of a break as the last few months have left me a bit burnt out in the process. One of the videos I was planning on releasing also became obsolete within a very short space of time, so there are no severe consequences pushing it back a bit further.
Apologies for the continued delays for new videos and many thanks to all of you - my viewers, subscribers, family and friends - who are bearing with me. Here are a few teasers as to what I've been up to so far during my stay in Thailand (many of which will be rather familiar!)

A bit of an update...
A combination of work and a family emergency has of course resulted in little time for the channel the past two weeks. Thankfully both are calming down now and I'm aiming to be back with a video Wednesday at 5pm BST, with a potential bonus video on Friday ahead of setting off on my next trip. Hopefully see you all then!

Tomorrow* on the channel is a trip on VIA Rail's "The Ocean" sleeper train, travelling for almost 24 hours from Halifax (Nova Scotia) to Montreal. This trip has been on my bucket list for years as it uses the ex-Nightstar coaches originally intended for overnight services through the Channel Tunnel, so join me at 5pm BST tomorrow to see how these carriages hold up on Canadian rails!

Hi All, no video this week as I look to realign my schedule and backlog back to Monday uploads - in the meantime, check out my video of the inaugural Lumo West Coast service from Stirling to London if you haven’t already! https://youtu.be/JSns5GUaK3k?si=W0jdL...

On Monday I was on the very first public Stirling-London Euston service launched by low cost operator Lumo, with my ticket costing just £20. See you at 5pm BST to see whether I got more than I bargained for!
