Welcome to my channel, which focuses primarily on train travel - not only do I find it to contain interesting history and great scenery, but it's also a good way to unwind and relax.

Here you'll find trip reports, journeys and comparisons of trains from all over the world - videos are released weekly at 5pm UK time, so hit subscribe and enable notifications so you don't miss any of my adventures by rail!

If you would like to support the channel, I am not on Patreon but please do find my Ko-Fi link below; all donations will be used solely for the purpose of creating new videos (new gear etc.) and are greatly appreciated.

For business enquiries only, please get in touch using ml.media1@outlook.com (linked below as well - serious enquiries only please and note I cannot respond to personal emails).

Thanks for viewing my channel and I hope you enjoy the ride!

A further update...

A few more unexpected things last week (nothing bad this time!) occurred which meant I was unable to do any channel work. Combined with the fact I am now in South East Asia for the next two weeks means I will be unable to release anything until I return given the lack of a suitable-quality microphone.

As such, new video uploads will be suspended until July 13th - I am recording content out here, but frankly I could also use a bit of a break as the last few months have left me a bit burnt out in the process. One of the videos I was planning on releasing also became obsolete within a very short space of time, so there are no severe consequences pushing it back a bit further.

Apologies for the continued delays for new videos and many thanks to all of you - my viewers, subscribers, family and friends - who are bearing with me. Here are a few teasers as to what I've been up to so far during my stay in Thailand (many of which will be rather familiar!)

A bit of an update...

A combination of work and a family emergency has of course resulted in little time for the channel the past two weeks. Thankfully both are calming down now and I'm aiming to be back with a video Wednesday at 5pm BST, with a potential bonus video on Friday ahead of setting off on my next trip. Hopefully see you all then!

Tomorrow* on the channel is a trip on VIA Rail's "The Ocean" sleeper train, travelling for almost 24 hours from Halifax (Nova Scotia) to Montreal. This trip has been on my bucket list for years as it uses the ex-Nightstar coaches originally intended for overnight services through the Channel Tunnel, so join me at 5pm BST tomorrow to see how these carriages hold up on Canadian rails!

Hi All, no video this week as I look to realign my schedule and backlog back to Monday uploads - in the meantime, check out my video of the inaugural Lumo West Coast service from Stirling to London if you haven’t already! https://youtu.be/JSns5GUaK3k?si=W0jdL...

Up today is a look at Germany's FASTEST regional train, the RE 200. Travelling along the new Wendlingen-Ulm high speed line with an hourly frequency throughout the day, this great service is limited by one major issue...

See you at 5pm BST!

Well that took slightly longer than expected, but anyway...

In today's video we'll be looking at France's first private non-high speed rail service as we ride one of Transdev's brand new Omneo Premium units from Nice to Marseille. Join me at 5pm BST for what will be a stunning ride along the French Riviera!

Up today is a look at the newest train in Switzerland, the RABe 512 Stadler KISS on a ride from Basel to Zurich. Despite being built for regional and interregio routes, I was honestly very impressed by the quality of the interior... join me at 5pm BST as we check it out in detail!
