Eminem's ex-employee Joseph Strange aka "Dope Edit" was the source of the recent leaks and faces up to a statutory maximum penalty of 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000:

- One hard-drive seized contained 12,000 audio files, including stem sessions and artists who've worked alongside Eminem
- Hand-written lyric sheets were stolen by Joseph Strange during a flood at the studio
- A VHS tape containing an unreleased music video was found
- 25+ songs purchased for the sum of ~$50,000+
