Welcome to RSG.
This channel was never really meant to be about fame, algorithms, or chasing trends. It started as an outlet. A place to put thoughts, memories, struggles, stories, and pieces of life into music.
I’ve been writing for years and have published two books on Amazon:
📖 Quiet. Dark. Lives.
📖 Damieon: Born of Oak
When I’d burn out writing chapters, I started writing songs instead. Some nights it was music. Some nights it was stand-up comedy material. Eventually the songs became something real enough to share.
Every song on this channel comes from somewhere honest.
Nothing here is polished to perfection because life isn’t polished either.
If you’ve listened, commented, shared a song, or found something here that connected with you in some way — thank you.
This channel is basically me giving away little pieces of myself one song at a time.

I'm getting really close to hitting 500 subscribers on the RetiredSaint YouTube channel.
For a lot of people, 500 subscribers may not seem like much, but for me it's another milestone in a journey that started with nothing more than stories, experiences, and a love for writing songs.
If you've listened to the music, shared a song, left a comment, or supported me along the way, thank you. Every listen, every share, and every subscription means more than you know.
I'm asking for one small favor:
Head over to the RetiredSaint YouTube channel and hit Subscribe.
And here's a little motivation...
If we hit 500 subscribers, I'll release another exclusive sneak peek of an upcoming song before anyone else gets to hear it.
Let's get there together.
Thank you all for helping me turn stories into songs.

🎵 Quick Update 🎵
Lately I've been working on a few new songs, and they're a little different from what I've done before.
Most of my music has been built around traditional choruses, but these new songs lean more into big choir-style hooks and group vocals. The goal isn't just to make something catchy—it's to make something that feels powerful, emotional, and relatable.
Songs like "I See You" and "A Man Like You" are written for the people who keep showing up every day, carrying more than anyone realizes. The single moms, hardworking dads, veterans, and everyday folks trying to hold everything together.
I'm experimenting with choruses that feel less like a performance and more like a room full of people saying, "You're not alone."
It's a different direction, but one I'm really excited about.
I'd love to know what you think:
Do you prefer traditional choruses, or do you enjoy those bigger choir-style sing-along moments?
Thanks for listening and supporting the journey. More music coming soon. 🎶

Tomorrow is a pretty big day for me.
My first album, A Few Bits Of Me, officially releases tomorrow on all streaming platforms through DistroKid.
What started as writing books like Quiet Dark Lives and the Damieon series to help myself process life slowly turned into writing songs that said the things I didn’t always know how to say out loud. I never expected these songs to connect with people the way they have.
From A Father’s Price to Just One More, every song on this album comes from real moments, real struggles, fatherhood, healing, mistakes, memories, motorcycles, family, and just trying to become the man people need me to be.
To everybody who listened, shared, commented, subscribed, or simply felt these songs with me… thank you. Seriously.
A Few Bits Of Me releases tomorrow on:
🎵 Spotify
🎵 Apple Music
🎵 Amazon Music
🎵 YouTube Music
🎵 Pandora
…and more.
I’ll post the links as soon as everything goes live.

Hey everyone — a lot of y’all have been asking if the songs will be coming to other platforms, so I’ve been working on getting everything set up.
I’m excited to say 3 songs will officially be releasing this week on streaming platforms for anybody that wants to listen outside of YouTube.
This whole thing started just writing songs from real life moments, and seeing people connect with them has honestly meant a lot to me. More music is already on the way too.
I’ll drop the link below as soon as everything goes live 👇

I thank every one for the support of this song. When I wrote it I had to tap into some of the pain I went through and while it opened old wounds, It seemed to be worth it.

I just wanted to say thank you to everybody who’s listened to the songs, left comments, shared them, or even just clicked play for a few minutes. I honestly never expected much from this channel besides having an outlet for myself.
I’ve been writing for years. Storytelling has always been the thing that helped me process life, stress, memories, and everything in between. I’ve published two books on Amazon — Quiet. Dark. Lives. and Damieon: Born of Oak — and while working on those books, there were times my brain just felt burned out from writing chapters nonstop.
That’s where the music came in.
When I needed a break from novels, I’d write songs. Sometimes stand-up comedy material. Just random pieces of thought and emotion that needed somewhere to go. Eventually I started fleshing the songs out more seriously and decided to upload them here just for fun.
Every single song on this channel comes from something real in my life. Some are anger. Some are memories. Some are loss, stress, humor, regret, survival, or moments I couldn’t really explain any other way.
So if you’ve listened to them and found yourself enjoying them — or even just understanding them — thank you. Seriously.
This channel is basically me giving away little pieces of myself one song at a time, and it means a lot that some of you connect with them.
