We had the honor of headlining Broken Bow with Flattop Rider, and what a night it was! I had an absolute blast behind the drums, and the crowd was packed from arm to arm. Seeing so many people singing, dancing, and enjoying live country music was an amazing feeling.

A special shoutout to Duke for sitting in on the violin—he absolutely crushed it and added so much to the show. Huge thanks to my bandmates, the Broken Bow staff, and everyone who came out to support us. Nights like these remind me why I love playing live.

Sofia and I had such an amazing time exploring Zilker Botanical Garden in Austin, Texas! 🌿🌸

This place was absolutely beautiful. Everywhere we turned there were colorful flowers, peaceful walking paths, unique garden displays, and so many incredible plants. One of my favorite parts was seeing the Japanese Garden area with its waterfalls, stone pathways, and multiple koi ponds. Watching all the baby koi swimming around was so relaxing and honestly one of the highlights of the visit.

We also loved seeing the garden’s collection of Texas native plants, cacti, succulents, roses, and tropical flowers. It felt like every corner had something new to discover. The mix of nature, wildlife, and beautiful scenery made it the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the day together.

Austin has given us so many great memories already, and Zilker Botanical Garden was definitely one of our favorite stops. If you’re ever in Austin, this is a must-see destination.

Sofia and I went to the “Come Away With Me” — Norah Jones Valentine’s tribute, and it was honestly incredible. Dezirae, the lead vocalist, did an absolutely amazing job capturing the emotion, tone, and intimacy of Norah’s music. Her voice was stunning, and you could feel every word she sang.

The band was equally phenomenal — tight, expressive, and musical in all the right ways. As a musician myself, I really appreciated the attention to detail and how well they honored the original spirit while still making it their own.

It was one of those nights where the music just takes over and you forget about everything else. Grateful to have shared it with Sofia and to witness such talented artists bringing that level of artistry and heart to the stage.
