This classic SNES RPG series is almost complete! I've finished and share both the Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy VI oil paintings, and the Chrono Trigger one is in progress (still needs some touch ups and detailing). I had a lot of fun painting this one! I love exploring different light sources, probably largely because it's rewarding to learn through experimentation. I wanted to try implementing some concepts in this portrait, like the blue and yellow edges around light, contrast in a backlit subject, and light through fabric.
