The constant wet weather since the beginning of the year has completely messed up my plans to work on my cars and complete outstanding videos. The jobs on the Focus are mounting up and a couple videos I was expecting to complete this month could not be done either. But, that's life and I hope to resume normal service soon.
So, to fill the community post with a bit of sunshine, here's a pic of a Nissan Pickup I pictured in Portugal on a very hot May.

Currently editing the video about the brake and suspension and steering work on my BMW E12. First recording was made in 2023 with additional jobs carried in 2024 and 2025. I didn't realise I had recorded over 3 hours of steering, brakes and suspension work alone! I'm halfway through the editing and the short version of this work will be live on this channel mid March, while the extended version will be live on my other channel ‪@GentilsGarageExtension‬

I attempted to create a period press shot of my 1974 BMW 520, similar to one of the many shots published by BMW during the launch of the E12 in 1972. I used several filters, but couldn't create that period dullness, but Ian from Hubnut managed to tweak the picture to make it more period like.
I took the picture at De Vere Horsley Towers only a week before the windscreen went bang in July last year.

My friend @henrique.silva.vieira sent me pics of the '83 323i E30 I owned from '07 to '13. In the first pics, I only had the car for a couple of weeks, still with the black side strips and the Sparkrite antitheft glued to the windscreen. It had PAS, electric windows & sunroof, central locking, alloys, wheels, fog lights, etc. it was bit rusty, but only dost me £170 on ebay with 10mts MOT!
Shortly after I bought the car, me and my friend Henrique went on a day trip to London and it was bliss.
A year later, in 2008, got this very early 318is which I sold in 2011.
Only 9 years separate this two car in terms of registration

Facebook reminded me that 15 years ago I bought this 1986 BMW 320i Auto.
It was one of the worst kept cars I ever had; overheated, heater didn't work, suspension knocks, heater not working and had very crusty arches... but silky smooth engine and had an MOT!
