Smooth McGroove

Charl passed away today after a three and a half month battle with an intense chest infection, most likely caused by a tumor. He was put on a rigorous treatment protocol that eased his symptoms and he began to recover, but three days ago he took a turn for the worse.

Charl was my best little buddy for over 14 years. I saw him the day he was born, which surprised everyone because he emerged 24 hours after his siblings. He was with me through so many big life events, and graced almost every single one of my acapella videos with his chill presence. I'll miss that little guy...he was a one-of-a-kind cat, and loved 'til the end.

I took the old man to the vet today, and he's got a gnarly chest infection which has made him lose a ton of weight and made it hard for him to breathe. He's a special cat who's brought joy to me and so many others. If you can, say a prayer for Charl to help him fight this ✨
