I’ve been too depressed to make posts about MSU these past 2 weeks, but here are my thoughts as of late.

Starting with basketball, it’s gonna be a repeat of last season. We come close to beating good teams, but never get it done. And judging on the way we’ve played vs these “cupcake” teams like Monmouth, Niagara, and Bowling Green, we might even struggle in the Big Ten because the conference isn’t getting any easier. UConn/Colorado will be the real test for us.


Onto football, this has been such a weird year. Yes we’re 4-6, but we are WAY better than the record looks. Just look at all the schedule. Boston College was ranked, Ohio State, Indiana, and Oregon are all top 5, Iowa was ranked and we beat them, and Illinois was ranked 2 weeks ago. Even though the OSU, Oregon, and Indiana scores looked like blowouts, we were close in all of them for a good amount of time. These last 2 games are very winnable games and a bowl game at 6-6 would honestly be a successful season. If Chiles and Marsh stay along with DC Joe Rossi, Michigan State will turn heads next year. Believe in us, Spartan Nation.
