Dear Stories of the Olives family,
We would like to share a brief update with you.
Yesterday, we received unexpected news from YouTube.
Stories of the Olives has been suspended from the YouTube Partner Program, which means the channel is currently unable to earn revenue from our videos.
The reason given to us was, "Unsatisfying or off-putting content."
This came as a great surprise to us, especially considering the amount of care, storytelling, research and creative work that goes into bringing these Bible stories to life.
We have been given the opportunity to appeal the decision, and we are currently taking time to understand the issue properly and prepare our appeal carefully.
Because producing each of our animated Bible stories requires significant time and resources, our next upload may take a little longer than usual while we work through this situation.
We didn't want to simply disappear without letting our community know what is happening.
We are incredibly grateful for everyone who watches these stories, discusses Scripture with us in the comments, shares the videos, and has helped this community grow.
Stories of the Olives is still here. We hope to resolve this and continue bringing the stories of scripture to life with you.
