Both boys fabulous again this weekend!
Mojo headed to Bromyard Equestrian on Saturday getting 69+% in his Novice 🥇 and secured his ROR regional qualification in just 2 tests. Also attempted his (and mine) ever elementary test. He smashed it with a 67+% and 🥈. Both tests had mistakes that need work so potential for much more!

Alf headed to Hartpury on Sunday. In big classes he behaved impeccably achieving 66+ in his Intro (harsh marking in my opinion) for 🥉. Also attempted his first Prelim. Smashed it with a 66+% and 5th 🏅 again switch loads of room for improvement

Alf you are so handsome! 🥈out of 10 🥂 with 70.22% Particularly chuffed he did a lovely stretchy trot (2nd photo) and free walk on a long rein after being so spooky and tense at the start. Thank you to SSRC and @bromyardequestrian for a lovely competition. A couple more intro tests booked so he can get used to different venues/banners/flower pots/flappy stuff without having to worry about canter transitions (still a work in progress)
This was only his second ever test, first one being April 2022 just to see how he’d react to life not at the races, first test since starting team chasing and first time ever in an indoor arena ⭐️ Honest aim - to qualify him at Prelim level for a Blenheim 🤞He’s half way to intro already!

Thanks @carley759 Judging by the rodeo I had to sit in the orchards yesterday when I let the handbrake off for the first time since Oakley he’s not ready to retire just yet 🤣🙈. His only none placing since returning is when the team didn’t finish. He led clear ❤️He is however entered in some toe flicking in a couple of weeks - again aim to stay in the boards, he last test was Blenheim in 2021 and he’s done a fair bit of hedge hopping since 🤞🙈

Also thanks to the team that keep him him going Bradfords Veterinary Physiotherapy Belmont Farm & Equine Vets Ellie Tomlinson Roger Price also Cotts Equine Hospital who did his KS surgery and Three Counties Equine Hospital who did his lag screw fixation

Now to mention my family, friends and the professionals that keep the show on the road and get them to their well managed teams/team mates. I might have surprised myself by travelling to the 4 @britishteamchasing alone and miraculously surviving but by no means a solo effort.
Firstly and most importantly James. He is basically a single parent during TC season as let’s face my job isn’t exactly training/competing friendly. He not only supports but encourages the madness (think he secretly prefers it to rugby) and always thanks my awesome ponies for bringing me back intact. He also lets me haemorrhage all my cash (and some of his) into pony endeavours and rarely bats an eye lid.
@jillyabaker who looks after the boys like her own when I’m at work
@laurafarrants who might not of TCed much this spring but listening to my endless drivel regardless and feeds the boys countless polos when I’m not around
My FIL who quite amazingly seems unfazed every time I destroy/break a towing vehicle as well as subsiding feed and always calling to check I’ve survived!
Tim @bradfordsvetphysio the team @belmontequine Rog (farrier) and @ellietomlinson8989 who keep ponies and kit as good as they can be. Let’s face it a horse like Mojo in particular does not run at all without some serious and careful management

Biggest thanks to my completely mega and awesome ponies. I’m a very fortunate human.
