🇨🇳 Spoken Chinese Grammar: 来着 (láizhe)

来着 is used at the end of a sentence in spoken Chinese.

1️⃣ When you forgot something you once knew
• 你刚才说什么来着？
Nǐ gāngcái shuō shénme láizhe?
👉 What did you say just now again?
• 昨天谁找我来着？
Zuótiān shéi zhǎo wǒ láizhe?
👉 Who looked for me yesterday again?

2️⃣ For something that just happened (reminding tone)
• 我刚才打电话来着。
Wǒ gāngcái dǎ diànhuà láizhe.
👉 I was on the phone just now.
