Just across a bridge from downtown Asheville and you can walk to historic Montford- one of the only truly walkable neighborhoods with tons of historic homes, parks, a historic cemetery, amphitheater, neighborhood favorite cafes and restaurants.
It’s a joy to walk the streets of Montford and look at all the beautiful gardens and homes.

Many people with kids complain that there’s not enough to do in Asheville on a rainy day. True, we have less options, but places like Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company is a nice little spot. Eat pizza (and other things from their menu) while watching reruns of older movies (Jaws are coming soon) or new ones (like Fantastic Four))
