Stop adding every skill to your resume.
A resume listing 30 or 40 skills usually means none of them stand out.
I often see something like this:
Python, Java, SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Photoshop, Canva, SEO, Figma…
All on one resume for a single role.
Skills without proof are just words.
Try this instead:
✅ Choose 6 to 8 skills aligned with the role you want
✅ Demonstrate those skills inside projects or experience bullets
✅ Remove anything you would struggle to explain in an interview
Recruiters are not looking for a tool checklist.
They want evidence that you can solve problems.
Focused resumes work better than overloaded ones.
