Hands-on with Huawei’s new triple-fold phone! The Violet Purple color is truly stunning. This time, the new triple-fold is called Mate XTs instead of Mate XT2, which clearly shows Huawei positions it as a minor upgrade to the first-generation triple-fold rather than a full iteration.

In terms of specs, the Kirin 9010 has been upgraded to 9020, bringing a significant boost to daily battery life. The Red Maple Imaging system has also been added.

As for usage, the Mate XTs seems to be aiming to become a pocket computer, loading a bunch of HarmonyOS PC apps into the phone along with free multi-window support, clearly targeting productivity.

Since the design is being reused to lower costs, and with Pure-Blood HarmonyOS urgently needing more users, the new triple-fold is also priced lower this time. Could it be considered more user-friendly than the previous generation?
