I've made a video about trans people in the UK and the specific ways I think we should organise in order to be liberated. It'll be up on the channel later this week and it's very important to me that people watch and share it so that we may actually follow through and do the kind of stuff I'm talking about because I think these are things we desperately need. I've had a busy day today because I've just filmed the studio shots (pic related) for a video about trans organising that will be up on patreon in a couple of days and up here next week, AND I interviewed Tara Knight for Red Planet. Tara is a transfeminist author who has received a letter from the FBI threatening her and demanding that she takes down her work. The interview will be airing this Sunday on Red Planet after the week's news.

I've made a short video that's quite artsy and different to my essay work - I've called it a video "poem" not that I think there's a super meaningful genre distinction but because it's more poetic and personal in style and content. It's about the feelings that I move through in winter and I hope that it will resonate with people. For now it's not going to be published on the YT channel but we'll see. These streams are a continuation of the Liberal Slop streams that Nat and I were doing 2 years ago, where we were discussing the production of liberal articles and thinkpieces in publications like the New York Times, Atlantic, Guardian, The Wall Street Journal and the New Statesman. The aim of these streams has been to share an understanding of Chomsky's propaganda model as it applies to liberal thinkpieces, to understand the systemics of liberal content produced for the constant reaffirmation of the western imperialist intelligentsia. All of this relates to the framework of political analysis that I've been working on for the last few years, which I've just put up a substack piece about. The substack piece is a curation of discussions I was having about the framework on Tumblr with some additional notes.

Hey everyone! This speech is a bit over an hour long and in spanish but the auto-translated english subtitles are good, and what Gustavo Petro says here is important. He is calling for the formation of an army by the UN which will fight against Israel to stop the genocide and then go from there to aid in the climate relief efforts around the world. He says that Gaza is an experiment in our own complicity and complacency, and that if the genocide there is allowed to go unopposed the imperialist ruling class will use it against everyone who tries to resist destruction by climate collapse. I think this is a reasonable analysis, and I believe the genocide in Gaza must be stopped.
Petro's outlined plan is to bring a UN resolution to create this army, which cannot be vetoed if he can get 75% of member states to approve it. He likens what he refers to as "the army to save the world" to the International Freedom Battalion or the antifascist volunteers in the Spanish Civil War saying that he is sure people will volunteer from around the world.
If this proposal gains momentum it will be incredibly significant in world politics
