I have one purpose in life: to make this world happier, more loving, and more peaceful. After all, the more peace we bring into our lives, the more #peace we bring into the world.

Having seen so many around me suffering from stress, addiction, suicidal thoughts, anxiety and depression, I decided to embark upon a 9-year journey that would take me to over 35 countries living with and learning from shamans, gurus, monks and tribes. I studied 16 religions and spiritualities, and spent 50 days meditating in total solitude, all in an effort to discover the secrets to a peaceful mind.

If you’re ready to let go of your negative thoughts and the baggage that is weighing you down, if you’re ready for a life filled with joy, purpose and meaning, please join me on the journey within.

There is a stage of adulthood that no one talks about and no one prepares us for. It is the hardest stage to grow into. It is the stage we fear and try to avoid our whole life. But it's coming for all of us.

No, it's not the mid-life crisis. It's the stage of becoming an elder. It doesn't mean we've turned 80. It means we no longer have an elder we can turn to for sage advice, and we have to step into that role ourself. It can happen when we're very young or very old, but there eventually comes a time, if we live long enough, when we become the one everyone leans on for support.

In my latest podcast episode, I share 3 simple steps for how to step into this hard new role. I talk about how to face loneliness and being alone, old age and aging, and tapping into our inner strength and power. I discuss why it's painful, how to overcome it, and how to become the shining light of wisdom for ourself and others that we're all destined to be.

Nobody else can push our buttons. Those buttons lie within us. Other people simply show us where those buttons exist, but we ultimately are the ones who push them.

True spirituality is about diving deeper into reality, not escaping it. If spirituality is used as a way to escape life, then it's no different than video games or addictive substances. It's just another escape mechanism. Another pleasure to satisfy our craving.

We don’t need to deny the physical world so we can escape into the spiritual. Part of our reality is this material universe we’re born into. It is from here where our non-material spirit and consciousness awakens. It's not something to reject. It's something to use as a tool for connecting to the Source of everything within us.

It’s about learning to be a complete human being, embracing every aspect of ourselves, and seeing the totality of reality beyond the superficial surface.

This is what my new book is about, The Guidebook to Being Human.

A book that dives into how we can deal with the struggles of being human and still walk a spiritual path.

It’s written for anyone who’s trying to balance their inner world with the chaos of everyday life. For anyone who wants spirituality for the real world — during stress, heartbreak, confusion, fear, and all the messy parts we don’t usually talk about or teach how to face.

Life’s ups and downs are both tools —
tools to practice peace, presence, and balance.

They remind us not to get carried away when the highs come,
and not to lose ourselves when the lows arrive.

We are all blessed to be on a journey of growth.
Waking up and facing each uncertain day with courage is more than enough for a life well lived.
That’s what my new book, The Guidebook to Being Human, is about. Learning to find peace in the highs and lows, and embracing the simple beauty of being alive.

Here's the secret to living in true alignment, free from the inner conflict so many of us feel: recognize that the personas we create aren't who we really are. Freedom isn't in rebelling or conforming, it's in being unapologetically yourself.

So many of us don't even realize we're chasing other people's dreams because we've never had a chance to find out what we truly want.

In today’s world, being a victim is often encouraged and even rewarded.

When we present ourselves as victims, we may receive sympathy, attention, and online validation.

In an increasingly lonely, disconnected world, that support can feel so nourishing.

But deep down, we don’t want pity.

We want to feel strong. Loved. Free. And victimhood can't give us that.

True happiness comes not from being supported in our suffering, but from remembering we are more than our pain.

Because life’s not about becoming the victim or the villain, it’s about finding the hero within. That’s what The Guidebook To Being Human (releasing this December) is all about. Coming soon...

To freely be ourself, we need to accept what we fear. We need to be comfortable losing some people who don't like the real us, and comfortable with the fact that that's okay, and that it's inevitable.Nobody likes everybody.

You’ll stop living in “what ifs” the moment you understand this.

Whatever path you choose in life —
there will always be pros and cons,
positives and negatives,
trade-offs and sacrifices.

But most of us make one common mistake.

We focus only on the negatives of our current choice
and fantasize about the positives of the path we didn’t take.

We rarely think about the negatives that could’ve come with that other choice,
the ones we might not even be aware of.

And we almost never focus on the positives of the path we’re actually on.

That’s why we look back with regret —
instead of looking back with gratitude.
