Another chapter has been opened. I am now 18 years old! Not so excited on another stack of obligations but I am excited to announce to you, my loving subscribers, that I'm changing my YouTube Channel name! Because maturity hits my head and I just woke up wanting a better change.
This is a long process of debating to myself whether I will change my YouTube Channel name or not since the name "Girly Unnie" became a part of my life. It is my childhood and since I am still a child that time, I found that name cute. But as I grow up, I started to gave meaning to everything I do, from giving names to getting and doing what I want. This time, I choose the name which will describe and represent who I am. I thought about this for a long time to find who am I and what I want.
To celebrate my birthday, I, Girly Unnie, will officially become Haneul (하늘). A girl who is bright. Who dreams big and high. May I be your guide to your hardships. And at the end of the day, my YouTube videos may be your comfort. I will always be your shoulder to lean on when you have your doubt about your skill in dancing. I can be your friend, teacher, and sister.
Note that Girly Unnie will not be forgotten. She is my childhood and I made memories with her. Also, my first 2,100 subscribers are in the era of Girly Unnie. I found that a lot of my subscribers are older than me so I found it awkward that my name has unnie on it lol.
