Today’s video took a lot longer than I expected as i encountered two crashes with DaVinci Resolve on my old laptop. Then I decided to render the video on my old Ryzen 5700U desktop instead, and that worked better. Anyway, today’s video is about DroidDeck VS GameNative - which is better for Android PC Gaming?

The new kid on the block DroidDeck has been getting a lot of attention lately, and rightfully so because it’s such an amazing app. I won’t spoil anything else but do check out my latest video! I've just posted my latest video, one that I've been working on for more than 2 weeks now on the script, the research, learning new editing tricks (hope you like the new intro card animations!) and more. This one by far the most difficult video that it took me to produce, and I hope you learn a thing or two from it - as it relates to a topic that most people don't talk about - handheld security.

LATEST VIDEO:
Yesterday, I had posted my new video which covers what nobody tells you about GameNative VS Native Android Gaming. It may be obvious to some, but to those that are very new to this hobby, they might not have known what I have shared in the video. Regardless if you're new to this hobby or otherwise, please do watch that video - I do hope you get something out of it.

Take note that I received some feedback that mentioning “full screen” in the context of aspect ratio was confusing to some people. Sorry for the confusion there - I meant to say 'adaptive' aspect ratio, where when you play those games listed as 'full screen', it adapts to your screen aspect ratio whether it is 16:9 or 4:3. Not all games do this and there are a number of games that are hard coded to mostly a 16:9 aspect ratio, even android games. So hopefully that makes sense and is clearer now.

NEW "FEATURE" on Channel:
I have created a few playlists for the channel, so that you can "binge" according to what interests you - ranging from specific brand reviws/tips & tricks to emulation guides & tips and tricks. Next week I should hopefully have another new video which is on a topic that is very rarely (or hardly ever) covered by other channels. I won't spoil the surprise here, but suffice to say none of the major Youtube channels cover this - at least not in a specific video like what I'll be covering. Just posted a video on the Retroid Pocket Duo Lite - if you're planning to get one, please do watch it as I talk through the 4GB VS 6GB version as well as screen trade-offs with the duo lite that you need to know.

At the end of the video, I also mention about a project that I'll be working on (I won't be giving any specifics) but it's a "how-to" or "guide" that I did not notice youtubers cover, and it's a really important topic that I am still learning, researching and playing around so that I can give you a good and informed guide on it.

Hi Guys,

Just another 20 minutes or so before the Retroid Pocket Duo pre-orders open. Don't forget to prepare your preorder codes - "DUO" (without quotes) for the Regular Duo and "DUOLITE" for the Lite version.

I have changed my mind and will be getting the Black version purely because that ships the fastest and I want to get my review out as soon as possible. the GC version seems to ship much later - up till a month later, and as I'm still growing this channel I think the traffic matters to me and hence the decision (although its not a decision I take lightly as I really like that GC colorway!).

What color will you be getting? Sound off in the comments down below!

This week we have had many Retroid Pocket Duo announcements ranging from gameplay videos on the engineering prototypes to the pre-order pricing and the pre-order dates!

I'm very excited for this "mini-thor" from Retroid, and also for my very first Retroid handheld.

Preorder dates will be September 11th - 930PM EST / September 12th 930AM BJT (Beijing Time). You can check out the preorder price in the image attached to this post.

The pricing is pretty competitive and fair.

I will be ordering the regular Duo - Gamecube colorway for review along with the grips (which includes a stylus) as well! (EDIT: At the last minute decided to go with black as that ships much faster - being a tiny channel I need to get the unit sooner rather than later!)

Do take note that not many mention it (unless you're a fanatic like me) - the Duo Lite comes with in-line shoulders & triggers unlike the stacked ones on the regular Duo, so take note of that before you order and decide if you're OK with that.
