You are human, and are going to make mistakes. With healthy and unified relationships you can communicate the good, the bad, and the ugly without conflict, but in love and with respect.

🩷Beauty Is Her Name💚

We had to reschedule our Black History Meetup, but we learned last night that our black is beautiful everyday and can be celebrated any day! The focus was “Celebrating Your Beauty.”

We defined beauty and engaged in open and honest dialogue about beauty from a physical, intellectual and moral perspective.

The girls shared why “my black is beautiful.” They also poured into each other by sharing why ”your black is beautiful.” It is important to build each other up. The girls shared their different experiences but did not allow that to prevent them from finding beauty in each other.

One of the highlights was Mentee Alayna sharing how much she enjoyed the meetup in the discussion forum because it allowed her to express herself. We are so happy to provide a safe circle for girls. Keep going, growing and glowing beautiful!
