New WHY Series video is up.
Black Flag Resynced gets a July 9th release date. Thirteen years after the original. And honestly, the game looks good. The team put real care into it.
But while Ubisoft was building this remake, they also cancelled three original IP projects. Three new ideas nobody had ever played. Gone.
This video isn't really about Black Flag. It's about what the decision to make Black Flag instead of something new says about where Ubisoft actually is right now.
And whether this retreat to the past is a reset or just the most beloved thing they had left to offer.

Crimson Desert launches soon, but there is still a surprising amount of confusion around what the game actually is.

It started development connected to Black Desert Online.

Now it is launching as a single player open world game.
