The history behind the building that houses McGinty Motorcars is as classic and timeless as the inventory we carry. It was erected in 1910 by the City of Reading as a Horse Drawn Trolley Depot. When the electric trolleys came to Reading the building was sold and converted into The Oldsmobile Company of Reading which operated from 1921-1945. Various other businesses took residence at this location through the years. We are blessed to be a part of its legacy.
