T’S HAPPENING — DJI just dropped the “Pro in Mini” teaser for the next big thing in ultralight drones, and let’s just say: we’re shook. The future of aerial photography is taking off September 17 — mark your calendars!

Here’s what we know from the teaser:

DJI flashed “Pro in Mini” in an epic reverse teardown clip, revealing a “1-inch” camera sensor inside a compact body.

They teased imaging specs like E 24 F1.8 — that’s 24mm equivalent focal length, f/1.8 aperture. Bright, sharp, pro level.


The drone seems to have front obstacle-sensing (multiple sensors visible), plus the usual gimbal setup — obvious DJI quality packed into the small.

This could mean DJI is finally pushing the limits of what a sub-250-gram drone can do: huge sensor (one-inch), fast, pro-grade optics, safety sensors — all in a frame you can take anywhere. If the leaks are legit, this Mini may compete with drones that used to be in a totally different weight and price class.

Gear up. If DJI follows through, the Mini 5 Pro is gonna reset expectations. It's an amazing day for creators, aerial enthusiasts, and everyone who’s been holding out for true performance in compact form.
