This is a Ford Edge/Lincoln MKX and Nautilus maintenance and repair channel dedicated to the upkeep on the Ford Edge/Lincoln MKX and Nautilus. My previous Ford Edge SE (Orange Crush) clocked over 286,000 miles prior to my trading it in and the engine and transmission were running great. I currently have two 2011 Ford Edge Limited's (one blue and one cinnamon). I also collect video from my drives across Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, South Dakota and Wisconsin not excluding other states as I travel in the 2011 Ford Edge. Yes Ford will soon discontinue the FCIM for the 2011 through 2014 Limited models. Ford has all ready discontinued the SEL and SE versions of the FCIM. All you have now is scrap yards and maybe a repair if you can find someone to do this.

The day is coming quickly to toss Blueberry my 2011 Ford Edge into a hibernation mode. This Edge will be sidelined while major repairs are being made on the 16th of April 2024.

3K mile oil change on my 2019 Ford Edge 2.0 Ecoboost. Using Mobil 1 European oil 5W40 for this change. Keeping the metal wear down and trying to keep the fuel out of the oil and losing viscosity due to fuel dilution.

Have not inspected the struts for a while, but yet I strangely have a new pair in the garage. Intuition? or Planning? Or both. Either way I have a big suspension replacement project in mind for Blueberry my 2011 Edge Limited. This is a KYB strut on the front drivers side that is leaking. 3 yrs old and about 80K miles on this strut.

Over 8600 miles on the Driven Racing oil 5W30 in the 3.5 Duratec 2011 Ford Edge. Should be good enough for the 9K mark then I can change it. Amazing how some oils can go to 10K miles and others only about 7K miles and the rest in between that range. Stand by for testing results.
