I'm an avid animal lover. I've had dogs and cats my entire life and I've been keeping fish since the 6th grade when I was sent home with a 10 gallon aquarium to care for over the summer break. It was then that 3 guppies turned in 300 and I've been "hooked" ever since.
I have a small fish room by some of the bigger Fishtuber's standards, but I love it the way it is... or the way it will be once everything is in place. It's currently still a work in progress.
As a rule, I like the bigger SA/CA Cichlids which has precluded me from trying my hand at live plants since most of what I keep are serious earth movers and / or veggie lovers, but I have recently switched over a long established 120 gallon to a more community based style of aquarium and have begun my non plastic/silk plant journey.

Old Mama Nature caught the Chicagoland area looking the other way and punched us right in the mouth. We're still trying to get up and shake the cobwebs loose, so no show tonight, I'm putting in another 16 hour day.

Hey folks. We're taking off after work on Thursday to go be with our daughter, Miss Yaya, while also celebrating the 34 years we've spent together, through the good times and the bad. If I can get home early enough on Sunday and IF the boys are willing, maybe we can squeeze an hour pop-up in but that's still a huge maybe. I'll keep those who care in the loop either way.
