Hey guys! Thanks for watching the latest robot video. If you haven't seen it, go watch it now! I'm sure you'll like it.

The next video is one I've been researching and teasing over a year now, and I've finally decided to pick it up again. Realizing that I could do the topic a lot more justice, I've completely rewritten the script from the bottom up, and it's over six times longer than it was before!

It's quite a different topic from the engineering videos I've done before, but those of you who came from Tom Scott might find this one pretty interesting :) Hopefully I can finish it by the end of the week!

Thanks again,
Hinson

Some people may have noticed that my 'This video changes every day' video has been taken down, so I'm going to try to explain the situation. So YouTube has a system to check for copyrighted content and such by processing each video every time it is uploaded or modified. The way my video worked was that every day it would be made private, reverted to its full 4 minute form (processed), edited (processed again), and made public again.

During August, when I first made it, it would take roughly 15 minutes total, including processing time, for the video to update. However, during December, I noticed the video taking longer and longer to update, with the latest one taking almost 2 days to process twice. This time, it has been stuck in its processing stage for four days now, and I can't do anything to the video while it is in this stage.

I've contacted YouTube already through twitter to try to resolve this, which they tried, but never fully fixed the issue. I'm still waiting on my video to finish processing the first round as of right now, but given we're dealing with YouTube here, it might be weeks.
