Hello and welcome. I'm Paul Whitewick, I seem to have developed a passion for making short films about the Landscape here in Britain. My passion for abandoned Railways and Canals soon spilled over into Roman Roads, ancient trackways and countless stories I can tell as I walk the Landscape. I have a degree in Environmental Science, but thats about it, other than a pair of decent walking shoes! I am a wannabee archaeologist who loves telling the stories I learn about week on week. Hey Folks. No video this week (2nd of 4 planned weeks off this year), so a quick couple of important messages.
1. I am continually amazed, grateful and appreciative that you lovely lot show up week after week. Not a day goes by (probably not even an hour) without me thinking about producing films... research, edit, scripting, filming... i'm a lucky man... how on earth do I get to do this thing that nourishes me in so many ways. Thank you.
2. Youtube are continually changing things for creators. Sometimes themselves. Sometimes because they are forced to. (See potential for Media Green Paper in the UK discussion which would force YouTube to highlight long establish news outlets over others... this is good and bad, and a longer philosophical discussion than I care to have here)... but.... the point is. SUBSCRIBE and click notification bells. That is the cast iron way to ensure you see our productions.

Folks. We are thinking of "Unlisting" some of the old "Every Disused Station" series of videos. They will still be on a playlist which will be active and searchable. So in the next week or so... if you see them vanish, don't panic, they will still be online, just not recommeneded on your feed. All good?
