I'm pretty late with these Patch Notes, but let's look at what and why Riot is changing this time.
(That's probably my first and last post in such format, YouTube scuffs all non-square images, so I had to recreate it, which took a lot of time. I'll think about how to make it better, anyway, thank you for reading my Rant ;D)
Anivia is getting buffed which is surprising. She already performs really well (2% higher winrate than Average Emerald winrate). In higher ranks she drops a bit of winrate, so I guess that's the reason Riot is buffing her.
I expect 1% winrate increase.
Katarina - standard armor buff. Around 1% winrate increase as well. Will be decent.
Malphite - the most controversial buff it seems. Funnily enough, he performs really similarly to Anivia and buffs also look quite similar, so he will probably gain around the same winrate. Riot said that they're buffing champs with bad mastery winrate growth, so I guess both of them are fitting this category. Yet, if you need good autofill champion in toplane and toplane - those will work beautifully for you.
Pantheon - they gutted him heavily last patch. He lost 3.5% winrate, so that buff was expected.
Veigar - he was a bit weaker than average champion. Previously, like 1 or 2 year ago, he was OP in botlane, so Riot had to nerf him a lot to push out of botlane. In result, he was pretty meh in midlane. Especially with these W numbers. You just didn't have enough damage on your W to clear minions fast enough. Thankfully, it'll be changed now. Guess what it means? Veigar in botlane already performed good enough with Rocketbelt and with this W buff...yeah, he'll be pretty much OP. I expect 1.5% winrate increase. Could be 1% only, but I doubt it.
Briar - just OP soloq champ. Expected nerf. I don't really know how much of a nerf this is, but probably in 0.5-1% range.
Orianna. Pro Play focused nerf. Pro players love midlane champs who can get prio and safely scale. They nerf her base damage with W max, which pros are heavily using and buffing AP scales to nerf hp builds with roa/seraphs. It won't change her winrate much in soloq, and it probably won't do anything for pro play as well. Pro players will pick regardless.
Volibear - another powerful jgr like Briar. Tapping down his AP builds, but he'll still remain strong enough. It'll also make his bruiser builds through Trinity more viable. I expect like 1% winrate decreate, could be 1.5%.
Warwick - guess what? Another powerful jgr AND toplaner. He was pretty much OP all that year until Riot nerfed him a bit. He's still really strong, so Riot is nerfing him once again. He'll have like 1.5% winrate higher than average Emerald+ champion after those nerfs, which is still good enough.
And finally - adjusments.
Azir - you can see how similar his adjustments are to Orianna nerfs. Riot is nerfing his early game heavily, so he won't be first picked/banned every game at Worlds. It'll also affect his soloq power. After this patch, Azir winrate wil be around 46.5%-46%. Don't recommend playing him.
Camille - power neutral changes. A bit higher damage, a bit less durability. This change is mostly for pro players to notice her and maybe try her in scrims and on stage.
Fizz - it looks like they're buffing his early game heavily for the exhange of buffing his AP ratios, so he'll scale worse. He can become really powerful and annoying in the first 20 minutes, so I wouldn't be surprised if his banrate will reach like 15-20%. We will see I guess.
Graves - I think it'll be a nerf. You get small amount of base damage for the cost of 40% AD total. It'll probably push Graves towards durability builds, but it won't be enough to compensate it. He'll lose like 2% winrate with his current builds.
Wukong - Hidden nerf I guess. Q - nerfed. W CD - nerfed. W damage - nerfed, but at least E damage buffed! I assume RIot wants people to max E first on Wukong which is already not that bad, while also nerf him in general. That's my assumption. I think he'll lose like 1.5% winrate and will sit around 50% winrate (1% less than average champion in emerald+).
And...that's it! Let me know if you liked it, what I could change with this post and your thoughts about that patch! Byeee~

Hello everyone! First of all - sorry for not uploading/streaming much. Had to rest a bit and do some other stuff. Now I should be back with regular videos. Next one will be really long and useful, so keep your eye on my channel this week ;)
Also, I would love to know if you're interested in any live commentary videos like:
1. Gameplay videos, where I'm playing league and trying to explain why I'm doing this or that stuff.
2. Patch notes. What and Why Riot changes every 2 weeks.
3. Patch results, where I would show how nerfed/buffed champions and items perform after 1 week of patch release.
In general, I'm not the best at such videos and my English is not good enough when I'm talking live, so I'm curious what do you guys think? I could also write these as posts on youtube, though, not sure if it's efficient.
Finally, you can support me and my channel through donationalerts! Completely optional of course.

And...That's it for today's post. Thank you for reading it and see you soon!

Hey guys! Videos will be released less often as I'm practising my English to improve the quality of the videos. Meanwhile you can answer what aspect of the video you find most unsatisfying? I would love to hear your feedback and ideas. Bye-bye and see you in the next video!
