It's with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Sammy, the mascot of the DisCatMatt channel. She lived to be the ripe age of 21 and always knew how to put us in our place. Her beautiful meows and the way she perfectly timed blocking her body in front of the screen will be deeply missed. RIP Sammy.

RIP Charlie Kirk. I pray Jesus Christ bless his family and friends with peace, comfort and healing during their time of mourning. I wasn't much of a follower of Charlie Kirk, I would watch the occasional Short of him debating with college students and would fist pump when he was able to make a good point but I wasn't a die hard fan. I even chuckled when I heard about his portrayal in South Park and I was happy Charlie was also laughing right along. Yesterday was a tragedy for Charlie, for his wife and two daughters, for his family and friends, for his fans, his enemies and this Nation.
Ephesians 6:12 "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places."
I've seen a lot of people celebrating Charlie Kirk's passing and it saddens my heart that demons would have such a hold over someone's heart. I pray we remember that our true enemy is Satan and his followers, that those who serve him should not hear words of hatred, cursing or vulgarity from a Christian mouth but instead God's Word. If you're someone that took delight in yesterday's events, I forgive you and pray that Jesus Christ's love and light will break through that darkness so that you can experience His grace and love.

1 Peter 3:9 "Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing."
