I’ve been fortunate to work with a team that’s 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀, 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱, and 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 of one another. We care about doing good work and doing it properly. Manager – Land Acquisition will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, & securing land for renewable energy projects (Solar/Wind) across key states in India. The role involves end-to-end management of land acquisition, due diligence, regulatory approvals & stakeholder coordination to enable timely project development.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐀𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
• Identify & evaluate suitable land parcels for Solar & Wind energy projects
• Manage end-to-end land acquisition for both private & govt. land
• Demonstrate strong understanding of land transactions in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu
• Negotiate agreements with landowners, aggregators, and intermediaries ensuring commercially favorable terms

𝐃𝐮𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞
• Conduct title due diligence including ownership verification, land record review, and encumbrance checks
• Assess easements, zoning regulations, and land-use restrictions impacting project feasibility
• Coordinate with legal teams for Title Search Reports (TSR) and ensure timely closure

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞
• Lead statutory approvals such as MoD, Section 64, Section 168, and other required clearances
• Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and local administrations
• Collaborate with environmental consultants and legal teams to secure approvals
• Ensure compliance with all state and central regulations

𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭
• Identify legal, regulatory, environmental, and financial risks in land acquisition
• Develop mitigation strategies to protect timelines and business interests
• Proactively resolve land-related disputes and issues

𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 & 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
• Collaborate with Strategy, Legal, Project Development, and Finance teams
• Support land acquisition planning, costing, and execution strategy
• Facilitate closure of land agreements aligned with client requirements
• Ensure smooth handover of land for project execution

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
• Proven experience in land acquisition for Solar/Wind projects
• Strong knowledge of land laws and regulatory frameworks in key states
• Hands-on experience in negotiations, TSR closure, and government approvals
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
