The Financing Alliance for Health (FAH) is a multi-organizational partnership that supports governments to focus financing on community health systems as part of integrated primary care, with an emphasis on finding effective and sustainable financing pathways, investment opportunities, and attractive returns for commercial and social investors. In doing so, the FAH focuses on four work areas: country engagement and support, analytical toolkits, financing products, and awareness and education.
The Financing Alliance for Health
Ahead of the World Health Assembly next week, where global health leaders will convene to discuss current and future public health priorities, we are taking stock of our incredible 8-year journey. π
In the last 8 years, it has been a long, exciting, and rewarding journey with amazing results. Since inception, FAH has supported 22 governments across 16 countries, mobilizing millions of dollars in resources for community health strengthening and institutionalization. This has seen 450,000 community health workers recognized and actively in practice. π
The theme of this yearβs Health Assembly is: "All for Health, Health for All." We are just getting started. Partner with us, so we can continue to scale and strengthen health systems, contributing to advancing the universal health coverage agenda. Together, we can achieve more! πͺ #WHA2024 #GlobalHealth #CommunityHealth #UHC
