It’s nice to finally have my interior completed. It took over a year to get this interior finished, but seeing it all come together made every delay worth it. Now I can finally step back and watch the vision I had in my head come to life. From the fresh upholstery to the clean details throughout the car, everything finally feels complete. This build has definitely taught me patience, but moments like this make the journey worth it. #BaggsOnTheGo #Impala

I built this Caballero to be a true daily, and I’m glad I did—especially with 93 octane pushing over $6 a gallon. This factory 6.0 setup is surprisingly efficient, and with the shop only ten minutes away, I can go a full week before filling up. What I’m really enjoying is the low, deep exhaust tone—it sounds just right. I’ll admit, I’ve got a bit of a heavy foot, but I’ve been having fun just cruising back and forth to work and actually enjoying the drive. Mainly I just be chillin in my garage staring it at. #Baggsonthego

If it’s not raining, I’ll be out driving my 1986 GMC Caballero.
Nothing beats an old-school ride with the right upgrades—it looks classic but drives like something brand new. The 6.0 LS is running strong, and the @QA1TECH suspension completely changed the feel… smooth, controlled, and comfortable like a luxury car.

Doors are on and lined up.
Next move will be dropping Granddad back on the frame.
This is where it starts getting real. #Baggsonthego

Body still getting attention — cleaning up rust and bringing it back to life the right way.
Meanwhile, parts keep showing up… @QA1TECH suspension is here and ready for when it’s time to bring this chassis together.

Given the considerable work that went into completing the restoration process, I decided on a gloss finish for the belly. A satin black finish will be applied to the firewall to ensure a uniform look with the rest of the engine bay. #Baggsonthego

I currently have two the biggest parts mostly repaired and replaced. The quarter and the floor board. Rest of the areas needing repair are small pieces and I will flip it back over and knock out. Another week to stay busy and I look forward to the weekend cause I’ll have everything done. By next week the car will be flipped back over and I will be starting on the firewall. 🫡 #Baggsonthego #Granddads
